@Donos: Having never play Starcraft before I was shocked at how similar the Protoss were to the Scrin in C&C 3, felt right at home though, Terrans seem really good though so I try play as them a fair bit. Zerg just confuses me lol
@mada193: you should be able to run it on normal settings, I'd suggest updating your ram by a gig and probably your gfx card too.
My system is: Intel Core 2 Q6600 2.4ghz Quad Core 4gigs of RAM Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX+ (Factory overclocked to compete (and overdoes) some specs of a 280 card)
I can run everything on Ultra (so long as I'm not zooming in) Your processor is better than mine though so that may help :D
@TurboMan: There is a somewhat non legit beta version (its the actual beta with a loader that loads directly into a game) floating around that lets you play against the AI, try grabbing that and give it a whirl
@Mikemcn: yeah you can, you can download the installer without even buying the game. Thats how I'm doing it, I still buy my games, download them (through a filesharing site mostly), crack open my box, enter cd and store it nicely on my shelf with my other games that I will always have when the whole internet runs out of IP addresses
@Mikemcn: What advantages? Blizzard offer the game for redownloading an unlimited number of times even if you bought the disc, you could even preload it by about a week. With their installbase, earnings and being financially linked to Activision chances of that service ever going away are slim to none.
