Probably not. The combat in DS2 is awfully balanced. They throw too many enemies at you, which was fine in DS1, but the problem is that Death is very weak and not as mobile in a fight as War. There's almost no hitstun in your attacks and you can't interrupt enemies, if you see an enemy winding up for an attack just get away, while enemies even the smallest ones will easily interrupt you and break you attack strings.

The weak combat is probably a by product of the loot system and it devolves to exploiting that system, if you know what you're doing you can build the ultimate weapon that has something like 50% crit chance, health on crit, health on hit, and then mash to win. If you don't have health regenerating weapons then just hit and run, get a couple of hits in then dodge away and only use the lock on on single foes since the camera gets in too close and you can't see around you.

Wow they threw the vehicle balance right out of the window. It was already hard to kill jets, unless you're another jet, but now it is the only air vehicle that is of use.

"FIM92 and IGLA now lock on to air vehicles at both lower altitudes and longer distances."

"Removed flares from gunner position in helicopters. With the right combination of unlocks, an attack helicopter could be effectively invulnerable to lock on missiles. Removing the flares from the gunner balances the attack helicopter against ground fire."

Who thought that this was balanced? I thought Battlefield was about team work and they're punishing the most teamwork demanding thing in the game. Lock on missiles take no skill they shouldn't be effective, they should act as a deterrent and drive choppers away from an area. Choppers already have to be wary of Jets, their most dangerous enemy, other choppers, lock-on weapons, dumb fire rockets, tanks, and don't forget laser painters + Javelin/Guided shell, if all else fails get a jet and fly it into the chopper. How is a chopper supposed to survive now?

It takes a lot of work and constant communication to keep an attack chopper alive and be effective, the payout equalled the work. Now any kid with a no skill lock-on weapon can take you out no matter what you do. How about nerfing the invincible jets? A good jet pilot can ONLY be taken out by another good jet pilot. I was looking forward to AK but now I don't even want to update the game.

This is hardly the first time that Sony has jumped on a bandwagon that Nintendo built. It's not surprising to see them do this. But while the Wii U actually comes with a tablet controller, you have to buy a Vita separately from the PS3, and the rate of support on optional peripherals is always vastly lower than the rate of support on controllers actually packaged with the console.

Actually Sony had the idea of cross play between the PSP to the PS3 back in 2007. They had a tech demo of an F1 game and you could use the PSP as a rear view mirror, unfortunately it was taken out before the game was released and nothing came of this concept.

Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden. Anything that has fighting games style combos and depth.

It comes down to if you're a graphics whore or not because the game is exactly the same as the console version with more stable framerate, and added content which people forget to mention.

Dark Souls, got it a couple of months ago, how it didn't win GotY last year is beyond me, it is definitely one of the best designed games of this generation, and free PS+ games.
