2020 is almost over and I think the only 2020 release I played was the C&C remaster.

Well, previously eradicated diseases like polio and measles are coming back in style, the era of the lowest amount of active conflicts in recorded human history (which was apparently true throughout the 90's) are long gone, humans haven't been to another celestial body in more than 40 years, the only country with visions for a space program seems to be China and secularism seems to be losing the fight against religious extremism globally.

At the moment it would seem like mankind's best days are behind us.

Hello, I need help remembering a game. I remember I played it when I started using computers, that would be about the 2000s, in fact, I remember playing it around 2002-2003. Its a FPS, but I'm not 100% sure

It was based on a futuristic world or in a post-apocalyptic world, the protagonist was a man with an artificial eye, or an artificial lens in one eye, I think the lens emitted a laser and scanned things, or was a kind of futuristic visor. I remember much yellow in this game. You start in a futuristic or ravaged city with tall buildings. Reminded me to games like Quake

Sounds a little like Project Snowblind?

Rust. Exactly 400 hours. Below that is probably MW3 or CS:Source.

When did they start logging hours? I've played hundreds of hours of Day of Defeat Source and it only shows 24 hours.

Also, This is an interesting site if you're interested in your Steam stats.

I think the client has been logging hours since about 2006 or so, but that was just stored locally and would be wiped if you reinstalled Steam (which at least I had to do quite often back then, as Steam had a nasty habit of corrupting itself when it updated back then). They've stored the hours server-side on the steam profile page since about 2011 I think.

I know I spent a lot of time with Oblivion, but that was before Steam stored time played on their servers rather than locally in the client, so that data has been lost over the years for me.

Apparently the most time I've spent with games since they started tracking time on the profile page is 177 hours with EVE Online and 120 hours with Star Trek Online.

Absolutely not, I tend to focus on one aspect I enjoy, be it a chain of sidequests or just exploration and do that until I lose interest and never play the game again. I usually don't give a shit about the main story, collectibles or anything like that.

In Skyrim I visited all the cities abd explored the countryside, then I played the civil war quest line to completion and put the game to rest, only playing a few main story missions, which didn't really grab my interest. Spent about 200 hours that way.

In Defiance I've visited all the "towns" and then almost exclusively done arkfall and incursion missions.

In Final Fantasy XIV I just sneaked my way though all the high level areas as a low level character until I had made my way to all the major cities on all the continents, and then stopped playing without getting anywhere near the level cap.

I've never played the stories in any GTA game beyond the point where you unlock all islands/cities.

Huh, looks like I am in a minority as I've enjoyed just about everything SOE has put out in the past 15 years (I have no interest in H1Z1 though, and Wizardry Online was garbage, but it wasn't developed by SOE).

Did you check if he filled in the credits page too? Looking through his wiki history, it kinda looks like he's specializing in filling in the credits for lots of games. I know credits and releases yield more points than just editing the articles.

I can't say if he's doing anything wrong, that's probably up to the wiki moderator people to check, but while it looks like he's racking up way too many points for a lot of games (he seems to consistently have 3000-6000 points on a lot of pages, and for the games I've filled in complete credits for, I've barely reached 1000 points - but then, he's been filling in credits on some ubisoft game pages, and they have notably lenghty credits scrolls), I can't see anything faulty about the contributions I've looked at in his wiki history.

I don't know how the contributions are supposed to look though - there are plenty of "Create a new person" with a "potential name conflict found" in there - as can be seen here: http://www.giantbomb.com/wiki/moderation/157456/, but I can't see any double entries of the names he's submitted either.

Huh, a new Starlight game on Vita? That Vita version of Starlight Inception must've sold alright despite being totally busted at launch.

I'm happy someone tries to make space combat games on that platform, but I hope they spend more time tuning the UI for the Vita's screen this time around, because it was really hard to read in Starlight Inception:

Yup, this is from the Vita version.

Four games is twice as many as I finish in a year, so doing that in a month seems pretty unfeasible.
