It should have been out at 10:00am this morning. I heard the price will be $5.00.

I've played about 6 hours of it and it's pretty fun. The art, music and humour in the game is worth at least trying it out.

Do you like Nethack (random dungeons and items), Zelda (level layout) and/or Smash TV (4 directional shooting)? Then you'll probably enjoy The Binding of Isaac.

Come and watch me be bad at The Binding of Isaac!

Before anyone asks. Yes I have a legitimate copy of the game via Steam. Big thanks to Danny B for that.

Any frame rate slow down you see in the Stream is the result of my PC. I played the game for a while last night on high graphics with no hiccups. For the stream I'm running on low graphics.

I guess I replied with a private message, so I'll repost here:

Thanks for responding Coonce!

The url is: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/3/

I've tried it with other premium urls as well. None seem to work and I've verified my username and password.

I just tried http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/5/ with my account. Worked fine for me in iTunes 10.4.1.10 on Windows 7 64-bit.

1. Chrome 14, Firefox 6.0.2

2. Windows 7 64-bit

3. Any Premium RSS Feed (Example: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/10/)

4. Not really a bug it's a limitation in Google Reader (a popular alternative to iTunes) in combination with how premium feeds are handled. According to http://www.labnol.org/internet/private-feeds-in-google-reader/11983/ Google Reader doesn't support authenticated RSS feeds (http://username:password@feedurl.com). I'd like to request a feature to solve this problem for premium members who want to use Google Reader. Unique URLs for RSS feeds that include some method for authenticating premium accounts.

As an example the current HD Subscriber Video Feed is: http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/10/ and it requires authentication (manual username/password entry in a supported client). What about adding something to a premium members account where a user could generate a unique URL that includes some kind of authentication token making that URL unique to the user? Say http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/10/<Unique HASH>. The hash could be something as simple as SHA1(<Username> + <Date/Time URL was generated> + <Secret SALT>). This allows premium feeds to remain premium assuming users don't pass out their URLs. Access to the URLs could be limited to the Google data center IP addresses but that probably adds way more complexity then you'd be willing to manage. URLs could be regenerated by the user if they were compromised.

Just a suggestion for those of us who don't use iTunes. I'd rather not have to use (which I don't at this time) services like this: https://freemyfeed.com/ That strikes me as account theft waiting to happen.

I'm having this problem as well trying to add Premium Member RSS Feeds to Google Reader.

I'm pretty sure it's an authentication problem. Google Reader doesn't prompt me for a username/password.

Anyone else having this problem?

@JimmyJackJones: I'm with you. I read the map and found the PAX 10 no problem. I also knew it existed before going. I wonder how many attendee's knew/know about the PAX 10 or are just there for the big titles.

"The lack of appropriate signage..." that was PAX Prime 2011 with out needing to type out a full sentence.

I went and checked out the PAX 10. Here's what I came away with:

Snapshot - Really interesting looking platformer. The camera mechanic looks like it could make a fun little indie game. I didn't get to play it but I watched it being played multiple times.

Flipping Good Time - Again I didn't get to play this because it looked pretty boring. Run, jump, flip gravity, repeat. Since I didn't play it don't take this initial opinion as gospel. Watching someone play it for 5 minutes didn't make me want to try it.

Solar 2 - Bought that on Steam after the GB Quicklook. Found it enjoyable but lost interest fast. Want to know more about it? Watch the Quicklook: http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-solar-2/17-4416/

Fez - This game I got to sit and play for 15 minutes and really liked it. It looks to be a solid platformer and reminds me a lot of Cave Story. The flipping mechanic makes things really fun and makes the areas seem so much bigger. Controls were solid and the developer told me you can't die in it. They wanted to create something relaxing to play and explore. I am personally waiting for this to come out.

Word Fighter - Watched the Quicklook before going to play it with my girlfriend on the floor so I knew what to expect. It was a blast and so much harder then you think when you're in the hotseat. Check out the Quicklook http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-ex-word-fighter/17-4765/ if it doesn't sell it for you I don't know what will.

The Splatter - A physics based puzzle game. I tried this one out and found the splatter sounds and animations gleefully satisfying but this kind of game doesn't float my boat. For me it's a pass.

Janestown - Already out so you all probably know about this.

I didn't see the other PAX 10 games.

TL:DR

I can't wait for Fez and Word Fighter. Looking forward to Snapshot, Venessa and Janestown. Not interested in Solar 2, Splatter or Flipping Good Time. Didn't see the remaining PAX 10.
