it's 9pm on the 6th and if you go to the game marketplace area on your dashboard, there's a splash page with a link to the demo. it's not currently available, but it's interesting to note that the link is there anyway.

i find it really strange using a thumb stick to point and click, but i'm really glad that great titles like this are paving the way for my monkey island and (holds breath for) full throttle

well that wasn't the only thing wrong with that game, heh, although i'll finish they trilogy if they do

and last i checked, skate 2 was supposed to let you change the camera angle to a less skate vid view. i'm just saying that people should stop smashing their eggs in the crate.. or something.

it's a demo, it's a demo, it's a freaking DEEMOO!!

making note that they don't go over every single thing in store for you leaves you something new to find when you actually buy and play the finished product. i can't think of any game that gives you everything for nothing. fps' don't show you all of the guns or enemies, right? riiight.

and complaining that there's no audio option? uhm.. there's a lot of options that aren't there. what's the last game that didn't give you the option of changing the levels? sheesh.

the replay editor, on the other hand, i DO have a really big problem with. seems like they could have given you the default video angles from the first game and then let you fully tweak it the way it's set up now. but, maybe and hopefully, that's exactly what i'll be getting once i pick up my preorder.

For starters, I never played the SNES or Genesis games, but was a big fan of the cartoon (so far as to buy a burned dvd full of 23 episodes that made up the unfinished series off of eBay). I had been toying around with the idea in my head for a while now, and after seeing someone post their idea of a great zombie game, I've decided to take a stab at it myself.

'The series followed a group of adventurers on a quest to collect the Thirteen Treasures of Rule, which possessed the combined power to stop an evil substance known as "Dark Water" from consuming the alien world of Mer.', taken directly from wikipedia, this is an awesome set up. It's got treasure, evil and alien all wrapped into one. The whole thing could play out like Mass Effect, except on a ship. I'd hate to see the orginal characters come back, due to voicework and already created story lines. Instead, I'd like to see all new friends and enemies to flesh out the experience. Ren (prince) teamed up with Niddler (flying monkey), Tula (ecomancer) and Ioz (rogue pirate) to find hidden treasures across a vast ocean with multiple islands while trying to escape Bloth (evil pirate) and dark water, which was consuming the entire planet.

All in all, this game could contain gun and swordplay, magic, squad based battles, sailing, flying and puzzle solving. As I said, I'd like to see new faces (maybe ancestors) to inhabit the game, but still in the same vein as the characters that I grew to love. I don't know how many other people remember this show, but I know that I would definitely be the first one to preorder it.
