I went back and did a proper 'true/canon' character or world to import into DA2.

Female elf mage
Specialisations - Spirit healer, blood mage, keeper

Dalish vs Werewolves - Sided with Zathrian and destroyed the curse because my character was a good, racist elf.
Bhelen vs Harrowmont - Alistair decapitated Branka, blew up the anvil and threw Harrowmont on the throne - nearby severely weakening the dwarves.
Mages vs Templars - Saved the tower and the mages. Big happy ending.
Ashes and Dragon - Destroyed the cult, brutally murdered 'Andraste', and kept the ashes pure.
Connor, Demon and Arl Eamon - Saved them all by summoning the mages. Spared Jowan.
Landsmeet and Ritual - Saved Loghain, forced Alistair to marry Anora (Alistair was my love interest for some reason, so that was the end of that relationship), and made Loghain do the ritual.
Characters - Recruited everyone I possibly could.
Epilogue - Granted dominion of the mages tower to the mages and went to rebuild the grey wardens.

Awakening
Fully upgraded the keep, everyone survived.
Sided with the architect and killed the mother.

Witch Hunt
Left Morrigan to her fate as my character's best friend walked through the mirror. I then like to think that my warden left Ferelden to find adventure in other lands since she has no reason to stay now that the grey wardens were rebuilt. Possibly she left for the quanari lands like she told Sten long ago.

@FLStyle: Yeah, I played as the Orlesian Warden in Awakening, and I think that was just regarded as a "blank slate".  I could've transferred my sacrificed Warden, but I wanted his death to stay permanent along with his choices, and didn't have that option.

I suppose I'll just transfer my Awakening save for my Orlesian  Warden (if that's an option) and come up with some kind of rationalization for why Alistair became king and etc. in my head.  Anora was forced off the throne or something, I told myself, lol.

Combat

Name: Melcene
Level: 21
Race: Female Human
Origin: Mage
Class: Mage
Specialisations: Blood Mage, Diabolist (can't tell what other ones I had)
GF/BF: Alistaire

No Caption Provided
Dalish vs Werewolves -   At the urging of the Lady of the Forest, Melcene persuaded Zathrian to give up his own life, returning the werewolves to their human forms and saving the elves who had been inflicted with the curse.
Bhelen vs Harrowmont -   His promise to King Endrin to keep Bhelen off the throne was upheld by the intervention of one Paragon and the Grey Warden Melcene. Harrowmont was named king by the Assembly, ending the internal strife in Orzammar.
Mages vs Templars -   Sided with the mages in "Broken Circle"
Ashes and Dragon - Slaughtered the cult, killed the High Dragon, kept the ashes pure
Connor, Demon and Arl Eamon -   The Circle of Magi were finally called in, almost too late, and Connor was freed from the demon's power, though the damage to Redcliffe was severe.
Landsmeetand Ritual - Loghain was defeated in a duel at the Landsmeet, put Alistair on the throne and Anora in a tower. Had Alistaire do the Ritual with Morrigan. Continued on working with the Grey Wardens while being Alistaire's concubine or whatever the hell I was because mages weren't allowed to be king/queen.

Characters - Recruited everyone and did all missions.

@NinjaHunter: Ahhh, I let Alistair kill Loghain for losing Duncan, that must've been it. It makes sense now, of course Anora wouldn't marry the man who murdered her father.

@Wrighteous86: The only thing you can transfer your Origins save into if you sacrificed yourself is DAII I believe, I don't know if you can load the Origins Sacrifice save into an Awakening game in which you play as the Orlesian Warden-Commander. I'd look it into if I were you before March. In fact I might play another playthrough in which I do sacrifice my warden and see for myself.

My character sacrificed himself, and I didn't force Alistair to take the throne he didn't want.  When I played Awakening, Alistair was king and Oghren didn't seem to recognize Wynne. Apparently my ending didn't import to the expansion pack, maybe because I "died" at the end?

So I don't expect my choices to transfer to the sequel, either.  Which really pisses me off.  If they make any kind of difference, I'll probably replay DA1 and make a choice I don't want just so my save goes through.

Did anyone sacrifice themselves and have their ending transfer to new content?

@MarkWahlberg:@kingzetta: Awakening might do, Golems didn't have anything I'm aware of that will pass over and Witch Hunt will at some point in 3 if not 2. Like Mass Effect 3 is taking relationship stuff from 1 and 2 over to 3.

@NinjaHunter: I attempted making Anora and Alistair marry but was met by a brick wall, not sure what I was meant to do past their refusals.

I'm currently playing a human noble through Awakening after completing Origins, I'll post my choices from that play-through once I'm done with Witch hunt.

I really doubt the DLC will carry over, because some them don't even save after clearing them.

My first character.

Female City Elf. She hated humans after what they did to her husband (in the origin story) and was all evil and stuff in the early parts of the game. Very angry character. Then when she fell in love with Leliana she slowly lost more and more of her anger. She didn't become all saint like, but she doesn't hate humans anymore. She still fights for elven rights and her request from the new Queen of Fereldan (the request you get at the end of the game after saving Ferelden) was that elves should have more rights. I'd say she is fairly neutral.

Unlike most RPG's I never decided beforehand that I was going to be evil or good. I just let the story influence the character as I thought it would influence her.

My second character
(a mage called Khan with evil Spock beard) is more of a classic evil guy. Believes he is better than everyone else and the only thing he cares about is Morrigan who he is obsessed with. I wouldn't call it love, it's more that he want her to be his. He has no regard for anyone else, not even their child.

Third
My human noble guy was pissed off about his parents being killed and swore to take revenge. To other people he behaves like the nobleman he is and treat them well, but he had no mercy for Rendon Howe and his family. He married Queen Anora to become king which was his ambition all along.

Fourth
I also have a female dwarf who fell in love with Alistair, she is probably the closest character I have to a "lawful good" character. Her life ended as she sacrificed herself to save Fereldan.

You know all this importing stuff, it's actually gonna make import the 'evil' version to play as a good guy.

And my 'good' world save is going to be for my bad guy.

" Can you track most of this on the PC version?"

Wait, PS3 players can't? PC version logs every single event online. I can check my entire 80+ hour career through the BioWare character profile (like my character Ariel).

In short, I played a Human Female Warrior and made almost all the same decisions as the OP. I was a lady so I ended up being the queen of Ferelden with Alistair. Shale should have been my royal pet but she decided to become squishy again. I completed all the side quests and did the personal quest for all my party members.

Still need to play Awakening and Witch Hunt, but I burnt out on Origins after taking my sweet time reading through all those romantic letters and codex entries. Seriously, 86 hours...I could've learned a language in that time :(

As I just went through origins and am now going through awakening in preperation for DA 2. here were my choices.

Origins Story
Felix The Human Rouge Nobleman
Love interest Morrigan
Dalish vs Werewolves
- Sided with Zathrian , killing the Lady of the Forest and the werewolves. Then killied Zathrian after so that Lanaya would become the new keeper.  Recruited Dalish.
Bhelen vs Harrowmont - Kept the anvil, saved Branka, put Harrowmont on the throne. Recruited the Dwarves.
Mages vs Templars - Cleared the tower out of the blood mages and abominations, killed Wynne at start of mission because she didn't like that I agreed with Morrigian. Recruited the Templars.
Ashes and Dragon - Slaughtered the cult, killed the High Dragon, kept the ashes pure
Connor, Demon and Arl Eamon - Did not get involved with protecting Redcliff.  After I returned and infiltrated the castle I coudln't rely on the circle of Magi for help so I had to use Jowan and his blood magic to sacrfice Lady Isolde in order to save Connor. Sent Morrigian in who killed the demon.  Let Arl Eamon send Jowan to be hanged.
Landsmeetand Ritual - Let Alistar kill Loghain, put Quuen Anora on the throne and married her. Boned Morrigan for her crazy ritual . After all was said and done Anora asked me what my first wish as King was.  I replied to strip the Howe's of their status and investigate them to see who could be directly connected for slaughtiering my family.
Characters - Recruited only Alistar Leliana Morrigan Shale and Oghren, did the missions for Morrigan, Oghren, Alistar only.  Left Sten to die in his cage, woke Zevran up and killed him.

I'll get back to you on DA A.

Small though they may be, I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't care about making the choices in the first place otherwise.

Oh man, also Awakening Spoilers in here (which is still waiting for me on my hard drive). I do not have my save anymore since I got a new PC, and did not bother to transfer anything. I will just choose one of the pre-made. One was pretty similar to what I did I think.

I have four separate versions of my character who are accessed from "switching characters." My end of Origins version, end of Awakening, end of Golems and end of Witch Hunt. Do the console Dragon Age Origins just have a giant list of saves? I hope not, that would suck. "
It does, and yes... it does. As such it restricts you to create very few characters aswell, since each new save with awakening/witch hunt ect. counts as another ''character'', with only 10 ''characters'' maximum. =/

In the end it will likely affect very little considering that ME1-ME2 was a direct sequel and story continuation. Plus the import feature was highly hyped. Even with these factors the import of the game did very little, with biggest difference being Wrex.
DA2 is not even a direct sequel and not even taking place in the same part of the world, as well as Bioware not touting the import much this time around.
