It's far too early to say if I do or don't like the iOS quick looks. Year Walk was their first, in case you didn't know.

I thought either the room or kingdom rush was the first ios quick look. Not that it matters.

Ah, I see you didn't catch onto my joke. In all of the iOS quick looks, at the beginning, they say that its their first. They have had about 5 or so iOS quick looks so far and they still say it.

Your far to observant. thanks for the catch.

I think of iOS quick looks the same as normal quick looks, I don't see how the platform should matter.

The platform doesn't really matter however i would have thought to show off ios games could be difficult to get the feeling of what touch commands/controls they are using. However i think they have captured it in a unique but easy to understand way. I'm just happy to have more content, especially on a different platform. I enjoy seeing quick looks for all gaming consoles/platforms.

So Lately i have been feeding my sudden urge for a tower defense game with Hidden path entertainments defense grid: The awakening, which i found i am a fickle beast one minute im loving it then the next im hastily exiting the game hoping to erase my memory of how terrible i did on the last map.

I finally loaded up cave story+ which i had already heard was a must play i first setup my game controller on my computer to save my freakishly weak wrists from the diabolical game that is cave story+. What an awesome game though i regret not buying and playing it sooner the gun experience is especially fun for me giving me a old school raiden kind of feel with my guns upgrading.

Another game i have been playing of late is Chrono Trigger, i started playing it due to the current hilarious endurance run been done by Ryan and Patrick. I had tried playing it before to no avail but since watching some of the videos my interest has been ignited again. I think the thing that originally put me off was been used to secret of mana from when i was a kid but im slowly over coming this.

Anyway a good few days of gaming i guess my current choices have a little age sitting with them but games can be like fine wine right? just getting better with age.

Well off to play some more

So recently I cranked out my Sega Genesis and played 2 of my favorite games that i found difficult as a kid. They were World of illusion featuring Mickey mouse and Donald duck as well as Quack shot featuring Donald duck, you can imagine my excitement as i loaded up these games. After about an hour of playtime with both i came to a sad reality these games are were no longer a challenge and as such had lost a little of their beauty in my eyes. In the end i still love playing games i did when i was a kid some that i play regularly to this day include Super mario world, Secret of mana, Theme hospital and other games i held close to my heart as a child.
So my question is what games from your childhood or gaming past do you boot up every once in awhile or what games from your past have you played recently and found lacking or surpassing your memory of them.
I always love to know what other gamers grew up on.
