@chaser324: Yeah, sounds about right to me. Was hoping for a digital only discount, but definitely wouldn't mind paying $40 either. The $50 for SMT IV is throwing my mind for a curve.

As far as I know Capcom hasn't announced a price yet, but what is everyone thinking it will ultimately be? I'm wondering because I may pick up SMT IV to pair with that Fire Emblem deal with the assumption that around $30 in eShop credit should be almost enough to pay for this once released. I know I could use the credit for other games (Zelda, Mario & Luigi, etc but would prefer physical copies of those), but I imagine this isn't going to be some $15 downloadable title since it is essentially a retail product just not being offered at retail.

Haven't been able to find any information on the Japanese pricing to compare.

So are the Tavia choices the ones that matter?

I shot Justin (seems like maybe I should have shot Danny to get Vince to come though. This one seemed clear that one of the two was going to die because both pleaded for me to not kill them. I do wish I kept Justin though, that guy was cool. Fuck Wall Street. Didn't realize the mini episodes were going to be so short though and figured that Danny would have more survival know how or whatever than some white collar criminal.)

Left Nate (stood my ground early though and missed that damned Carly thing. Also, not sure why Russel didn't come aside from maybe not saying the right things with Tavia?)

Stayed in the car (Tried twice to go out and then beat Eddie in RPS in the first two matches)

Told Leiland the truth (Got killed by Dee the first time though because obviously that person wasn't going to be an enemy)

Drove away in the RV (Did this after killing the prisoner, which meant I got the jaded pissed off Becca)

In the end Shel, Becca, Bonnie, and Wyatt came with me. I honestly have no idea why Vince and Russel didn't. Kind of upset that I missed Carly and that I didn't get a full group to come with me. Still unsure if it's random or not, as people who made the same big choices as me have gotten full groups to go. Doubt I replay it though, have not replayed an episode yet, just feel like some of the choices weren't communicated that well. When it told me I left Eddie behind I thought there was a way to get him in the car and was pretty upset, I guess there wasn't though.

Are all of those .mp3s individual parts that need to be assembled or the full 3 hour thing? The Twitch archive keeps hiccuping every minute for me. Took from 9:30 AM EST until 11:30 AM EST to get through the first hour of the Day One stream.

I definitely think, thinking about the way narrative worked in something like Black Ops 2 compared to the other CoD games this generation, the series has made strides since CoD4, both in terms of single player and multiplayer.

Love Kojima, and MGS is my favorite series ever, but The Place Beyond The Pines was nearly unbearable. I'm not sure how Cianfrance went from something as promising (not great, but quite good and super promising) as Blue Valentine and follows that with something like TPBTP. That film is so thematically void and super contrived from a narrative perspective. Can't wait for Only God Forgives though, Refn has proven himself numerous times in the past and with Drive he seems to have finally found the visual style and prowess to go along with his early career promise.

I would play literally any game Kojima makes.

Saw that iPad Minis aren't as expensive as I thought. Considering, as someone suggested earlier, picking up an iPad Mini for the few iOS games that get hyped up and sticking with the Galaxy S3 or something for my actual phone. The HTC One looks great, but as of now I am having trouble finding one on Verizon, so it may just be a model that Verizon hasn't put out or something. Having the same problem with the Nexus 4, not really seeing it offered through Verizon and don't really want to drop so much off contract when I'm currently saving for a gaming PC. I'm going to keep considering the iPhone, but right now it seems like the S3 is a better piece of hardware despite the appeal that iOS has for me.

I really like Kingdom Rush, have ever since playing it a long time ago on my PC. Didn't realize Hundreds wasn't on Android (yet?).

Regardless, thanks for all the advice. I have had friends recommend the Nexus as well, but I didn't realize the screen was so huge. For the most part my walking pants and stuff have deeper pockets and I'm used to dedicating my entire right pocket currently to my Envy 3 anyway so size shouldn't be a major concern I guess. Also didn't realize iPad Minis were so relatively inexpensive (saving for a PC, so won't be getting one soon, but will in the future if I get an Android phone. Android tablets are way cheaper though).

I get people are saying to wait for Google IO in a couple of weeks to see what the next Nexus will be about, but I'm not sure it would actually benefit me. I'm still looking for a full time job post graduation and have only been working as many hours part time as I've been able to find. Either way, money isn't exactly rolling in either way. As such, even if I waited for the newer phones (I'm on Verizon, so they won't be getting the S4 until May 30th for some reason) I'm not really sure I would be willing to drop like $200 or more after contract and rebates for a brand new phone. Best Buy has the S3 for $50 this week after a contract, and while I was figuring I would end up spending about $100 or so on a phone that is even more appealing.

I'll also take a look at the HTC One, because I've had that recommended many times. Thanks again!

Wow, a lot of great information in here to factor in, it's definitely helped clarify a few of my concerns while bringing up some new ones. I knew the GB community was the best place to come for advice, and I want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to post. I'm going to give it a few days before deciding since it is a big decision. Like MonkeyKing says, it seems like the big thing is committing to an ecosystem, and that's where I'm having the most trouble, but it's all personal so I'll have to make a pro and cons list I guess. Thanks again, all!
