I don't know any of these bands but this game seems like a super solid rhythm game. Especially if you want to play a rhythm game and have already gotten rid of all your plastic instruments.
I just picked this up, is there a way to join the gb clan? I'm assuming fobwashed has to personally approve you?
There is new GB clans popping up everyday. The fobwashed led one I think is meant only for the jacket members only of GB friends and family.
It's totally not this. I only know 3 or 4 ppl in the clan. It's just that there's a limit of 50 ppl. I'm trying to rotate out inactive players at this point but there's always more join requests than there are slots available. Fortunately, there are a lotta GB clans and I'm sure they're all full of cool duders =]
While I didn't encounter some of the bugs Dan mentions (not a single crash), the long pauses for no apparent reason between some actions/turns were super annoying. The difficulty ramp also seems to be just all over the place with the game suddenly making huge jumps outta nowhere. This review is mostly spot with how I feel about this game and it's super unfortunate cuz it's just a handful of weird oddities keeping it from being outright great.
I'm in LA visiting my family. My grandfather has Alzheimer's and I visited him today. I started playing Firewatch at 1AM just to see how it'd run on my laptop. It is now 5AM and I've finished the game and read Alex's review. It is a cowardly thing to run away but holy shit if it isn't something I can completely empathize with. Alzheimer's is a heartbreaking thing to see in a loved one and a terrifying thing to know you may one day yourself be afflicted by it. I dunno what else I can say right now. I need to sleep. Firewatch is a hell of a game.
