I’ve been having a really hard time with the side missions solo. I’m getting to parts where I die and retry 5+ times to get past it and it’s really frustrating me. I don’t understand why we can’t matchmake for side missions, especially considering they scale to your level where the story missions do not so they never get any easier. This doesn’t make any sense to me.

Wouldn't be surprised for that to be added in, but in the meantime you can request assistance to see if someone can hop in to help you out if you're stuck at a certain section.

I've been enjoying this one solo as well, and am really liking the aggressiveness of the AI. In general it forces you to keep moving, or ensure you're using your skills appropriately to distract, and give yourself flanking opportunities. I know some people have mentioned it's difficulty as a solo game, but so far 10 hours in I haven't had issues. I've certainly died, and fights can be challenging, but it just makes you think more about your positioning.

I also quite enjoy just slowly exploring and then responding to distress calls as they pop up. Being able to pop in so quickly to other people's games to give them a hand is a ton of fun, and I've run into some good people doing that.

Overall, everything is connected rather seamlessly (especially after coming over from Anthem), the game play has been lots of fun, and there's just so much to do that I certainly see myself playing this one for some time to come.

Incredibly sad news, my thoughts go out to all of his friends and family. At least he got through what would have been one of the happiest days in his life with his marriage. Still, sudden and shocking, and despite only knowing via a website it's still incredibly sad news. Seeing him through the Gamespot days and all made him a constant to watch and listen to.

As much as I'd love to pick up the game, being a disk based release and costing $50 is outrageous in my mind.  Chances are I'll never buy, it's not the type of game that I'd actually put a disk in for.  Incredibly disappointing.

The game still has me concerned on the same issue as when I first saw it, and that's the fact the game will be so dependant on the players that the game experience is going to sway to huge degrees in regards of how much fun.  But if you have squads working together and people are actually playing it as intended then I could see it being an absolute blast.  That said, I'm Canadian and have a PS3 so I'd love the opportunity to give it a shot, maybe prove my doubts wrong.

It looks interesting, and I'm definitely craving a good racer (especially off-road) so I've kept my eye on this.  I loved Dirt but wasn't a big fan of Grid, so I'm waiting to read some reviews and try a demo before diving in to this one.  My other concern is simply that, while the world is so enormous, it also seems like it's going to be rather lifeless which could lead to things just being a bit boring.

I'm hoping it will turn out well, but at the same time I'm concerned.  I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Gotta go with Master of Puppets, from what I saw it looks like way too much fun on guitar, really looking forward to playing it.
