Looks fun & a great game to play while listening to various podcasts. Next time Ben, while at the farm you just put together, check back with the ! NPC to get more tutorial on the farm.
Also might look into another thing from the south with pickles mentioned a little in the emails, the koolickles. Good Eats host Alton Brown went around via motorcycle looking into the regional foods to try out. Here's the one on the south complete with recipes.
Game looks awesome, hopefully the server issues get fixed more as it looks fun.
For those curious about the films, I found that Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives is probably one of the better recommended ones to new people to the series as it's more about Tommy & dealing with Jason than a more pointless story slasher film. Jason X is also a good one with the sci-fi setting & more of a dark comedy than horror but enjoyable.
For other films, Cabin in the Woods from Joss Whedon lately has been one of the better ones to recommend as the story makes it really entertaining. Also personally recommending Horror of Dracula from the Hammer films in the 1960s as it's just a really good story & group of actors.
And lastly for those too scared for many horror movies, try watching the behind the scenes stuff on dvds. Seeing how the illusions/fx are made & seeing the fun of cast/crew making the film disarms some of the scary in it.
I really really hope that like with Alan Wake that the weird alternative history commercials/shows are things to find in the game & that there is more of them.
Part of me was expecting that when the main character gets up out of the bed at the gameplay start on this video that similar to the 1970s horror film, Thing with Two Heads, that he would have a 2nd skull medically attached to his body being either jerk nazi or Hitler.
Game looks insanely fun & love the weird alternative history on this setting, plus nice to get out in the open world a bit more so it's not just another corridor shooter.
Glad I can wait on the new console as no 4k TV in sight for my near future & happy to see them working with so many different developers for a ton of games plus the original Xbox games to dive into for a while to try some of them out too. Think that between the presentations, Microsoft had a better one this year.
Looks interesting though on the earlier mention of Hydro Thunder from Dan, while this seems to have more speed, for an arcade racer the Hydro Thunder series was enjoyable. Alex should try out the Xbox 360 version they did as it holds up rather well.
SeemsTrapper Keeper still going on & I also wanted that story on the cockpit to be real. Makes more sense & more fun than how it really got it's name, stupid boats.
