Mark your calendars & use the link below as on April 29th is International Tabletop Day so there are a ton of stores & places hosting boardgaming events that day to play games, meet new people & have fun!

Also at many of the places I know of nearby, it's also free. Been going to one of the ones by my place the last few years & had a chance to try out a bunch of games, find out about local boardgame events each week/month nearby & hope that other people try this fun game hobby out to have fun with games online or offline. Many of these boardgames have gotten either fun app versions on mobile devices or on sites like Steam there's Tabletopia to play the game digitally.

Yes and found that playing boardgames with many people is much more fun at times than online multiplayer. Some favorites of mine as well as some others that are on Tabletop that might be fun to try out sometime.

Fortune & Glory is the mentioned steamer trunk sized game, good pulpy action but wow on the size of the thing

Elder Sign (I have the slightly bigger one that covers a town in setting, Arkham Horror as well as the world trekking one of Eldritch Horror, spooky cooperative mystery puzzle game) - prefer Eldritch Horror here as it has a lot more to it but they're all good

Betrayal at House on the Hill (by far one of my favorite of the games I have, watch the first dozen minutes of tabletop to see those reasons)

Mansions of Madness 2nd edition on Watch it Played (horror adventure close to playing the Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG, game made much better with the app running the game) - first video is teaching the game then a session of it at Watch it Played

Lords of Waterdeep on Tabletop (one of the better twist on design, instead of a simple dungeon crawl game you & the other players are lords controlling the town of Waterdeep, this and the follow-up game Tyrants of the Underdark are quite fun for a strategy game put in the D&D universe)

Pandemic on Tabletop (fun game of getting together with friends & fighting against the board to win before the pandemics do)

Overall after the trial & not having any expectations beyond it being like ME3, this not only looks rushed to me with all the bugs but also hordes of bad writing/animation work that just undoes everything I go to Mass Effect franchise for. So yes the combat does seem a bit better and more multiplayer but if I want a 3rd person action plus multiplayer, I'll find a game series where that is the focus & should be better. If this is the best Bioware can do now after years of work/budget, it's the last new game of theirs I play as it seems a heartless shell of a game that went direct to video team.

Wound up getting the EA Access for a few other things & after the trial of Watchdogs 2, tried out Andromeda & so glad that I only dove into the trial for $5. Just so disappointing that the story & characters are so flat & dull (plus buggy & ugly on many characters/animation) with a fun premise for the singleplayer stuff. Might be a good game over time but as someone who loves most of what Bioware used to do, this is something I'm in agreement with Jeff on where MEA feels like a direct to video knockoff & not very fun. Glad I only went into the trial getting from the start to the first start planet with the tempest, saved the money on a full game & after seeing this game I'd rather find an average 3rd person action game over MEA.

Another video popped up recently that a friend showed me showing off a bit more of the crazy things that can happen using a lot of the stuff in the game. No real spoilers here but there is some NSFW language in it & good to look at after the GiantBomb quick look for it.

Seems like forever since they have done any kind of update on the Xbox One while sending out monthly emails on the tournaments (NOT ON XONE?) & even doing more with Season 5. Anyone have any news on this as it seems odd they'd just forget one of the major consoles for this & just update PSN/Steam/Mobile??

I was going through some of the quick looks & ran across one I've been to before but the main wiki page on the game had the content either nuked or it's needed as it seems odd to just not have it there.

A glass of bourbon to toast to Ryan. Somewhere in an alternate universe I imagine they redid Star Trek the Original Series & it got Ryan in there as a steady crew where he's fighting foam monsters + he's having a blast & during the breaks he's doing all he can to talk online about games/movies. Cheers & miss ya RTD!

Fun list of mine with a lot of hilarious moments remembering Ryan :)

Thanks Ryan. Remembering all the fun & your laugh still is quite infectious on many quick looks.
