Yes I liked it but then again I didn't get too much into the press on this game meaning I could enjoy it more than others.
Probably one of the better tutorial sequences in the games I've played lately. Love the modular tech on the vehicle creation & the wacky results people came up with on the replays.
Not sure how well sequels will go with this as it might get to be like Doom where it's less scary as the sequels roll out. Zero G & low atmosphere areas are the best I've seen in a game for a action-shooter game.
Really glad that the DLC for this came out as it really helped flesh out the world more & looking forward to #3.
Too bad this is one of the few games that dosbox or vista can't run. Really enjoyed it.
Still vexed on losing the computer that had the saves with the higher level characters when I played this. It's fun but rough to start at the beginning
So far I found that the xbox version is still better or at least easier to control than the keyboard/pc version. Yes have so many versions of this & still fun after all these years.
Back before Paradise got all the crazy open world in it, I spend so much time trying to figure out where to go on the map that it completely breaks the momentum. The free driving though is a good way to explore but it needs some kind of overlay marker on the races.
Still one of the best deals in pc games, not sure how valve will top this except maybe by putting out portal2, redone HL1 & acres more fun in TF2.
Game was so much easier when I found that the painkiller weapon had two really good modes for killing tons of people (energy cable or spin then release). Great game with some titan huge bosses.
Despite some of the goals in this game being damn hard, it's one of the best virtual pinball games I know. The psn zen pinball tables just don't have the same solid feeling as these tables (as far as they're designed).
great game for a great price
