Loved this blog. I did the same thing, I just dug out FEAR 1 last week and remembered how much I loved it.
 
Problem is, it's not scary anymore... and I don't think F3AR would have been scary if it was another all-alone alma-stalks-you game. We've played that game twice now.
 
And you bet your ass I said the same thing after FEAR 1 and still ended up being super scared of alma again in FEAR 2, but I mean it this time.
 
That said, I still don't think they're going in the right direction. I'm just not sure what a good direction for that game is anymore. It was a classic of FPS horror for me, and I don't think any more sequels will really do it proud.
 
And you're right about the poster, that woman does not like she has given birth to three children. Sweet jesus.

Activision's mom is redundant.

I would give up my lsat and only klondike bar for a SCII beta key.

I haven't even finished the main fallout 3 story! Because I don't like the game that much! But I like free stuff!

Eff the game, it'd only be cool for five minutes of fight anyway. Just go play punch out while you've got your sweet new Mario hat on.

I've chucked controllers in frustration at a few things (most recently mega man 9, never did finish that bloody thing) but I have some kind of common-sense conscience that makes sure i only chuck it down onto a couch, or a pillow, or something else just as soft that won't hurt anything. I sometimes end up beating up the pillow or similar.

This look is totally sick. The video search is definitely something I wanted to see for a while. Props.

Christ, people will actually pay that much money for costumes? ...And that WORKS? Man, money grab if I've ever seen one...
