I'm gonna keep at it, I just have no designs on ever unlocking the kid from I want to be the guy. WTF that level is bullshit.

It's more than just the zeroes. there are quite a few other times that are just flat out impossible as well. CH4x10 in Hell mode has a LOT of people with times at the 8minute mark which isn't even possible because it takes about 6 seconds just to get the key and get back to the platform. Maybe there are some characters with skills to cheat the key spot but Meat boy has a few of the top scores. Only thing I can think of is there's glitching a happening.

Yeah I got to that kid warp zone and gave up on that. There's things I know I'm not able to do and that's one of them. I watched someone on this board do those levels and it took him forever to do it and i don't have that kind of patience.

I was playing today and noticed a lot of leaderboards have people on them with completion times of zero for some levels. I know that's not possible, so are we seeing something like limbo again where there will be cheating scores at the top of the board all over again, or am I glitched?

So, anyone gotten there yet? I think you have to get enough warp zones for it to show up but so far I'm guessing it's riffing on flash games. the level with the 4 moving platforms and the ever decreasing jump through the spikes hole has me scratching my head and cramping my hands.

Only 36% total done with 70% of the main world done.

Also, anyone get the kid yet? that level just looks impossible.

Lastly, who has enough bandages yet to unlock the braid dude?

I've used Gamefly twice before and both times it was great for about the first 3 months and then it would just turn to shit. Several weeks in between getting games to me or giving me the bottom of my queue. I'll use it once I hear that it's not consistently crap. Plus I don't want to do the end around them and use a 2 game plan because that's basically a Lie. I'm not getting 2 games out at a time, they need to call it the staggard wait plan.

I don't know why it is that renting video games seems to be getting harder and harder to do where I live. I'm on the southern end of Columbus, OH and in the past year all the video stores have either closed 9thanks Netflix) or stopped carrying games (thanks thieves). There was a Hollywood Video that closed at the beginning of the summer and a Blockbuster that closed soon after. It seems like a lot of the Blockbuster Video stores are  all going the way of the dodo. I've used Gamefly before but their service just seems overpriced for how terrible it is. Thoretically 1 game for their 16$ a month is cheaper than buying a game but when you consider that you might not even get what it is your looking for it seems less and less like a bargain. Blockbuster's service carries games, but last I heard they don't get new released for several months after they come out.

So what exactly is left? While some games like fallout warrant a 60$ price tag because of all the content you get from them, most games don't because you can finish them in a week (max) and then there's little replay value left. Gamestop's no help unless you want to play the trade in game, and I'm in my 30's I'm not playing those games anymore. I was hoping digital downloads would be the way of the future. You would figure that once a game hits the greatest hits level of sales the price would be lower, except a lot of the more recent on demand games are going for 40$, which is the same price retail usually.

How are all you guys that still rent doing in your necks of the woods? Are things better there or the same.

Just seemed like every fight was a mess. And as much as these games are MMO like social experiences, I'm not dedicated to theg ame enough to be able to really do that sort of thign anymore. These games (and WoW) appeal to me because of the pick up and play nature that they have (or at least GW had for me back in the early days). I'd also hope for GW2 but have decided that I'm not building PC's to play games anymore and if it runs on whatever laptop I have then that's about what I'll run, and GW1 runs ok on my laptop. I doubt GW2 will run on my laptop at all.

I bought GW when it first came out and have since bought every expansion for it but I always run into a wall. The game is awesome, I do love it, but there's always some point in the game that I reach where I just feel overwhelmed. I tended to play this game solo with henchies, then with heroes and henchies but there woudl always be some zone where you'd get bum rushed by 8-10 monsters all with different abilities that were setup really well to defeat the party and I just couldn't keep up with what was going on screen fast enough to survive some of the battles.

Nightfall was the expansion where this seemed the worst but then GWEN came out and that made Nightfall seem like a goood Idea. :)

So My question is has the difficulty gotten any mroe forgingin in teh past year or so, or are there some palces online I can read up on to find otu what it is I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

All the rental palces near me closed and I don't feel like trying to find one miles away to rent a game once in a while. I had a Gamefly account (twice) in the last couple years and both time I had the same problems with them. They were good at getting me the games I wanted for the first few months and then I'd hit some sort of wall where I'd have a week or 2 go by with them sending me nothing on my queue. I'd mail something out and it woudl take a week to even get a confirmation that they recieved it then like 4-5 more days before I'd ever even see the next game.

Blockbuster woudl be better mainly because my hope is it's got a better turnaround. Although that lag time on new titles is BS. I wonder if they are trying to give their brick and moarter stores first crack at product? That would be stupid because of how many of those stores are closing now.
