I would like to have this to put on my new puppy.

@buttermynipples: I thought the exact same thing! I rewound multiple times and it’s all I could hear. Maybe an honest slip up, but also seems extremely out of character.

Abby is the best. I love the personality she adds to the team.

Looking forward to 2022 when I can play this on my PS5!

@aaronmt: I was super bummed by the visuals when I played the demo. I noticed a lot of rough edges/aliasing on character models. It’s a pretty game, but by no means a graphical powerhouse. It’s a shame they couldn’t have taken the visuals the extra mile to make up for the lackluster gameplay.

I’m bummed out to see that the setting/plot didn’t bear the fruit I was hoping for. Maybe it was naive of me to expect a real, albeit over the top, story of turmoil on American soil. Maybe the game’s content got pulled back a bit during development to play it safe?

I’m still looking forward to playing it despite its seemingly abundant flaws. After non-stop Monster Hunter and Celeste, I kinda just want something fast and loose.

Not quite sure what to make of this. Never played the first. Looks like it could be really dumb in a good way? But its Ubisoft, so it will probably take itself too seriously.

So, apparently Firewatch is a game about a guy who is bitter that he has to actually do the thing that he signed up for.

Maybe it was my expectations vs what I actually got, but I couldn't disagree with the rating more. I'm glad you enjoyed it, Brad. I really wish I could have. I was never engaged or interested by the mechanics of the game. Maybe I'll be alone in this and maybe I just didn't "get it". I loved Braid. One of my favorite games to release on the 360. I just can't recommended this game at all.
