@audioBusting: Why I recommended World Adventures? I guess it was provided a compelling variation to the traditional "Sims" gameplay experience. Like I said, any of the other expansion packs are just as good. Why I say stay away from stuff packs? I don't feel it gives enough bang for buck in what it's offering. The Sims has a pretty big modding community so you could get some new furniture or clothing items from those sites.
If you want to actually expand gameplay, get any of the expansion packs. Avoid the "stuff packs", they just add random furniture and clothing you could just get at mod sites. I would recommend "World Adventures" as one essential expansion pack, but any of the others are fine.
The process is basically this: They start with all interested parties entering an initial bid for THQ's properties. If these add up to more than Clearlake's $60 million offer, then the auction proceeds. This, in all likelihood, will occur. If those bids don't exceed Clearlake's offer, then Clearlake gets all of THQ's properties. Auction starts at 3pm EST.
Yeah, the game sort of throws you into the middle of things without explanation. Here is an official page with some youtube tutorials detailing different aspects of the game.
I feel like the Crossbow is going to be a big problem for those that like to use the Little Bird.
I can't imagine it being any different from them dealing with AT rockets. Although, they would now have to perceive everyone as a possible threat instead of just engineers.
