Lol, after reading this, I thought it was written in 2007-2008. I mean how do you still think a PS3 is $500?

And all these "reasons" come off as too brief and/or ignorant. But it seems like you were going for quantity or worthwhile read.

Ico, cuz I can't fucking find it

Grim Fandango, cuz I can't find a computer ancient enough to run it properly

I picked PC because that's what I play most on.

I see what you did there.  I'm in agreement with the majority in that I'd love to see some more Retro Quick-Looks on the site. Ryan's Incredible Crisis Quick Look remains one of my favourite GB videos to date. I doubt we'll be seeing them any time soon though, what with the holidays fast approaching and a multitude of games on the way. Maybe in the first half of 2010, when the news slows and the guys have more time on their hands. "
No you don't see what I did there.

Chie = Tomboy avoiding romance
Yukiko = Shy girl who has trouble expressing herself at all
Rise = A girl who is unsure about her life decisions

I pick Rise because she reminds me of Scarlett Johansson's character in Lost in Translation.
You see the real value in the relationships when you crack their outer personality to get to know the true them. It makes them feel richer, character-wise, and you feel accomplishment because you managed to get them to give you their trust.

Someone who is not on the list that I would have to pick is Ai because she changes to so much in personality. She lays the hard bitchy attitude down first, but she changes into a character that you grow to love. Not to mention she reminds me of a few girls I know.

" All i gotta say is, Uncharted 2 on the left was far more interesting than ODST on the right.   anyways, i disagree about the 3d. real-d tech is awesome and highly immersive.  also think he inadvertently  made a good argument for why consoles are better than PC's "
Well he takes about how he hopes Digital distribution and pushing existing hardware which the PC has been a strong platform for. I mean look at what Crytek is doing, and how they are managing to push the tech that they have. In terms of development, a PC game is far easier to work with because there are far less hoops and rings that you have to jump through. People learning game development start through PC development.

" I love the idea of a Podcast, I listen to so many Podcasts each week that I feel like I'm never out of the loop. It sucks that there is a distinct lack of Australian gaming podcasts that deal mostly with the trials and tribulations of PC gaming.  Aussie PC gamers get the rough end of the stick in just about every way shape and form, I feel like we would have a lot to say. "
Is it the whole podcast you want, or is it the 3-4 friends that you can chat about gaming for an hour with that you want?

It's insipid comments like this that keep my faith in the gaming community low. "
It's pompous comments like these that you should really keep to yourself. And after seeing your written mannerisms, I can tell that you have passionate feelings for either the console or the game, but that doesn't justify your aggressive behavior towards other members. "
There's nothing pompous about what I said.  I only said the truth. "
I know you quoted on a ignorant comment, but to say that you are losing "faith" in the gaming community is completely unnecessary and you know it.  Logically it can be disputed in multiple ways, and the only reason you said it was to try and add more "oomph" to you post. And yeah you managed to get my attention, but only in a negative way.  So basically, don't over do it. "
No, I'm speaking the truth in regards to my feelings.  Logic you way out of it, if you want, but I'm not lying about how I feel. "
Ok logically, the gaming community is not a utopia, you should know this. There will be idiots and assholes out there,  you should know this. So it's expected for there to be a certain amount of comments by assholes and idiots who make stupid comments. If you know this, then reading said comments shouldn't change anything for you because it was to be expected. But logic aside, do you really think anyone cares about your faith in the gaming community? "
So I should shut up because "no one cares?"  Please.  I am aware that the gaming community is not a utopia and that there are idiots and assholes strewn about.  That doesn't mean that I shouldn't desire for the community to be better than it is. "
You didn't answer the question, do you think anyone cares about your faith in the gaming community?
and a side question. Hypothetically, if you knew that "literally" no one cared, would you still express your opinions about the gaming community?

"Your logic is so absurd. I bet you felt embarrassed once you realized your false accusation, but of course you quickly acted to try and relieve that embarrassment by trying to make your original accusation stick. You should really take a break. "
You just lost a bet then. And yes, I find your logic absurd as well considering who you chose to attack over this matter and the reasoning for it. "
When was my "attack"? When I told someone to stop their aggressive behavior? You seemed to be really drawn toward the fact that I called them a "fanboy" when in actuality I made sure to not use those words because I knew that they would seen as offensive.
