@thenevinweekend: The first I remember of her on the site was a couple E3's ago when she was at the show promoting Battlefront 2 and showed up at one of the night shows. She was also on one of those shows this past E3. Not sure if there's anything prior to that though.
The base game (without all the extras) is on Xbox Game Pass. I downloaded it because this made me a bit nostalgic and I wanted to see if it ran this badly. It does not run this badly. Not even close. This Switch version is a travesty.
Anyway, the game is still pretty fun. Some of the jokes are still good and some are not. You know, like you'd expect.
Just wanted to point out that after-release embargos arent a thing.... If youre a no-spoiler absolutist, I advise to not click on the video.. Why is the Internet like this?...
People are weird about spoilers in general. It's not like they posted in an open forum everything that happens in this game. If you don't want to know anything, don't click on the video. It's super easy.
I remember seeing screens of X7 for the first time and feeling so disappointed. Completely soul crushing in an it's-just-a-game-and-doesn't-actually-matter kind of way.
@ep_driver: Weirdly, I find that the people I beat the tar out of are more likely to rematch with me than the ones I have a closer game with.
I've probably lost a total of five games and only faced one person who beat me more than I beat them. I wish I'd gotten their PSN name down so I could try again later, and without using Haruka who is garbage as far as I'm concerned. But again, it's hard to say if I'm actually any good. So many people it just feels like they don't really understand how the basics of the game work.
@fredchuckdave: I have to have well over 100 wins by now (wish I could say for sure, but there's no stat tracking) and I'm still getting matched with people who play like they haven't even gone through the training mode. That, or I'm a freak which is almost certainly not true. The only time I face tough opponents anymore is when my buddy and I play doubles for some reason.
That framerate is no good. I'm sure I could just deal with it. I have before. Can't wait to get a Switch Plus in a few years and come back to play this.
