MAG is a solid shooter but doesn't add many new things 0

MAG may add the 256 player count into the mix but other than the number it doesn't do anything to make itself stand out from the rest of the crowd of first person shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield.   The graphics in MAG aren't terrible but we've seen better in both bad company and modern warfare games, it's understandable that it may not be great because of the massive battle taking place in the game. I rarely found a bad texture or many glitches and for such a huge game in that aspect i...

Simple fun with a strategic twist 0

I've had my eye on Flotilla for a while but at I'm not a risk taker so more than ten dollars was beyond my limit, it went on sale for two bucks so I excitedly grabbed it and that was the best two dollars I've ever spent.  The story is simple, you have seven months to live and you're going on an adventure through space with your group of ships or your "Flotilla". Your adventure is different everytime with random events on every planet that are mostly funny stories of how you get items or penguins...

A great story with no back up 0

Star Wars the Force Unleashed is a decent game with a great story, but the gameplay doesn't back the greatness of the story.  The gameplay in the force unleashed isn't anything special, hit a button for force and a button to swing your lightsaber. That's really all you need to know. It's a very repetitive game that'll have you visiting most places twice so you've gotten to know the enemies quite a bit. Each level will have you mowing down waves and waves of easy enemies with the occasional sligh...

A decent jetpacking adventure 0

Dark void is a third person action adventure shooter flight sim hybrid. You play as Will, an unfortunate pilot who takes a trip into the void to find a resistance and a race of human killing robots.  The gameplay in Dark Void is basically split into two concepts, the jet pack flight stuff and the third person shooting. Let's start off with the flying, it's done pretty well here.  The controls could be tighter, but they hold there own. At first it can be frustrating trying to target the enemy air...

Fast, action packed racing 0

If you like mario kart and forza 3 then odds are you'll like blur because it's almost as if those two were combined in this games extremely fun action packed racing.   The racing in blur is mostly stuff we've seen before, nothing special but it does this very well, but luckily it has something to set itself apart from the rest of the races in these power ups. the power ups range from shields and repairs to lazer missile things and shockwaves coming from your car, these keep each race from seemin...

The adventure of a lifetime 0

Red Dead Redemption is a fantastic game, let's get that done right off the bat and even though i may have a few gripes with it it's still one of my favorite games of all time with one of my favorite characters of all time.  Let's hit the gameplay, the shooting feels good and the auto-lock helps out a lot in making you feel like a real good outlaw shot, keeping you form wildly moving the aiming reticle around the screen hoping for a hit. Even if you want the satisfaction of knowing you created yo...

Chaotic extremely fun multiplayer 0

I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into when starting up altitude. I knew it had planes, multiplayer and a progression system and that I had high hopes.  The presentation is cartoony and bright colored and looks pretty good overall. The maps range from a variety of things like random geometric shapes to space to regular sky and mountains but most are fun and the variety keeps things fresh. This leads me to another great thing about the game is how the games tend to go by fast, ther...

One small step for man, one huge step for videogames 0

It might have been that I came into Uncharted 2 with incredible hype and expectations or that it just didn't do it for me as much as Infamous, I don't know. I didn't like Uncharted 2 as much as I thought I would but it's definitely not a bad game.  Let's start with my minor grievances. The things that really got to bug me are that the enemies soak up so many bullets sometimes (not many times though) I found myself running out of ammo before I had killed enough enemies to get more guns. That real...

An amazing open world game 0

I came into Infamous not knowing what to expect, it's been awhile since it's release and I'm just finally getting to it and I"ve gotta say, this is an amazing game with one of the best endings in a long time.  The graphics are good, but nothing shocking, up close they don't hold up extremely well but when in gameplay mode they look fantastic. The frame rate is alright, you won't notice any slow down at all until you get to an area without any buildings and it speeds up all of a sudden, but for a...

Batman like you've never seen him before! 0

After along hiatus of not playing this game I've come back and taken it down finally and have only a few bad things to say about it so let's do this thing.  Let's get the bad out of the way first shall we? The only things I found bad in this game was lack of killing, sounds very un-batmanish but seriously after taking down some enemies, going to another set then coming back to find the same enemies that I got a few seconds ago back up and running at me was very irritating especially when I didn'...

Like Crack Cocaine but better 0

Jungler starting off is a sweet game, it's addicting and simple enough to just pick up and figure out in a few minutes which could be a bad thing but considering the game is only three bucks it's okay.  Shoot off the tails of the red ones and eventually work your way to the head and shoot it as well, thats the name of the game. There never is a lot of variety in the levels besides the new maze layout but I barely noticed it to begin with until the map turned green. The only strategy comes in try...

Assassins Creed 2 > Assassins Creed 1 0

It would be hard to write a review of Assassins Creed 2 without comparing it to the first in every way because it every way it is better and there isn't a whole lot of other games to compare it to or a better way to say how good it is.  Lets get this out of the way first, Assassin's Creed 2 is a fantastic game.  When it comes to the gameplay I can't decide what the strongpoint is, combat or platforming. While running across the rooftops like a super awesome superhero I would think "They should a...
