At the risk of everyone snapping at me I really don't see why this game gets so much hate. Just because it isn't a spot on recreation of the Genesis titles doesn't mean it's bad. It's not as good as Sonic 3 & Knuckles but I'd argue that it's better than the first two. Most of the complaints I hear about this game tend to be about things that are ALSO wrong with the older titles. Seriously, go back and play them, they're not as flawless as you might remember.

I'd just like to point out that Rock Band 3 already had the whole,"teach you how to play a real instrument" thing. This isn't new.

You bring up some good points. I could never quite place why I wasn't as astounded by Galaxy 2 as everyone else seemed to be and I think this is why.
