I'll take Bioware worlds over Bethesda's anytime.

ETA: WoW's zones are generally better than ToR though. I did think Alderaan was pretty great, however.

Star Wars. At least when Star Wars is good, it can be pretty amazing. Mass Effect is consistently good, though I've not read the books (nor do I plan to) so I can't speak for those.

The Alloy of Law or A Dance with Dragons. Perhaps Ghost Story. I enjoyed all three of these but for different reasons.

The most fun out of them all is clearly The Alloy of Law. I also enjoyed the foreshadowing for the next trilogy in the world and a part of me is still amazed that Brandon Sanderson put out like 2 1000 page books last year, planned on a break this year... and for a break, he decided to just write another novel (albeit a much shorter one). The man is a writing machine. And virtually every time he gets better.

A Dance with Dragons disappointed a lot of people but I, for one, enjoyed it immensely. I think I probably consider it my favorite novel of the year so, yeah. That has my "Book of the Year Award" I guess. Of particular awesomeness are all the scenes in the Dreadfort involving a certain character we love to hate. Powerful writing there. Also Bran's storyline really starts to take off in this book, despite his measly three chapters.

Ghost Story felt like a maturing of the Dresden Files. It gets my "Protagonist Growing-up Award" that I just created specifically for this. Harry began to look back on his past actions and was forced into seeing the consequences of them. I, for one, enjoyed it.

I'm playing as Warrior (Marauder specifically). I enjoy how it plays; nice, high DPS, elites pose no problems. No real AoE and no crowd-control until 30 (and then only on droids). I've run a few 4 person heroics with only 2 people, so the class can't be that underpowered. Also had no issues soloing most anything that's meant to be soloed.

In comparison to other classes, I seem to out-DPS most I run with. The lack of AoE and crowd-control makes solo leveling perhaps a bit worse, but not hugely so.

I'm running Annihilation spec with a touch of Carnage.

And I know Sith, at least, get Force Choke. Which is really fun.

EDIT: I'm only about level 31 though, so this may change at high levels.

I found Catherine's gameplay to be crazy fun. When I'd go to sleep after playing it I'd be thinking about the puzzles for an hour or so and trying to think up tricks to do stuff. A few times I grew really frustrated, particularly the escort part, and the second to last boss. But I still loved how it played, with the caveat of needing the full 360 degree range of rotation.

And my enjoyment has nothing to do with it being Atlus.

Yeah, we have Calculus. At my high school (assuming most high schools in the US, too) classes are picked more like at a college level, where you register for certain ones beforehand and you're good to go so long as you're meeting all credit requirements. I basically met the basic math requirements and loaded up on stuff like Russian History, Psychology, Sociology, etc. These served me well in college, as I had a lot of background in a number of subjects I took.

@QuistisTrepe:

This was on expert. I'm not sure of all the changes of that difficulty setting, but based on what I saw in the Endurance Run, expert Ameno-sagiri hits way harder than normal. And uses a much more vicious attack pattern.

I feel weird in that I had no trouble with Yukiko's shadow but Ameno-sagiri beat my ass several times. I went Expert my first time through and that eye-beam attack, even if I kept everyone's defense buffed and defended, hurt. A lot. I think I might have been a bit under-leveled after watching the Endurance Run.
