My personal disappointment was Company of Heroes 2. It was hard to top CoH 1, but CoH2 feels like a huge step backward. The single player campaign was boring and felt like you were completely out of control of your units, and the multiplayer is so heavily-laden with microtransactions that I stopped playing the game after only a week.

Stalin would not be pleased.

They should have said something like this a week ago. The level of silence coming out of EA/DICE around the issues of this game and how they are resolving them is nothing short of criminal, especially to those that have paid full-price for the game, as well as their Premium service.

Pretty sure it's under NDA. I'd be careful posting anything that would violate that.

Ya, get back with me blizzard when the random world generator update comes out.

This. The issue isn't the length of the grind, but the repetitive quality of it. I don't see them doing this unless it were a separate mode, like some sort of "endless dungeon" mode.

Gotta go with Dark Souls on this one. The combat isn't all that flashy, but the tension it creates in each and every fight is unique compared to any other game I've played this generation. One misstep or missed attack and you can die.

While I appreciate the attempt to honestly address and acknowledge the community's issues with the game, it rings pretty hollow now. I hope they are able to improve things, but D3's base design mechanics have some severe issues. Without drastically overhauling everything, I don't see how they can fix it.

If they're smart, they'll just do text translation and just leave the Japanese VO. I honestly think it adds to the experience, since the game is hella Japanese to begin with.

After Telltale's excellent rendition, this just seems like an exploitative cash-grab off of a popular IP. Business as usual with Activision. Hope Terminal Reality can make something interesting with it, but I'm not holding my breath.
