I'm in the X-Box camp as well - it has launch games I care about (Forza and Dead Rising mainly) and the media stuff looks really awesome to me. I really think the OS and services side of things far outweigh what the PS4 is offering for me personally. I really liked Kinect on the 360 and so does my wife - I'll probably end up getting a PS4 whenever Naughty Dog comes out with something but right now there isn't anything grabbing me in that direction.

I heard they were missing pause and resume feature too.. that seems kinda crazy considering it is a pretty deep feature in the OS.

Oh by the way, I am not sure about Win7 but Win8 has a "playto device" feature that allows video streaming to 360, I wonder if that will just hook up with the Xbox One?

That's DLNA stuff - they haven't said anything officially but I would be surprised if the One doesn't support it in much the same way the 360 does. (Though I'm pretty amazed the PS4 doesn't when the PS3 does so who knows what could happen)

Pretty interesting FAQ. Removes a lot of guessing. Bummed about the media server, I use my PS3 with the PlayOn media server all the time.

Yeah - media server is pretty much the bulk of my PS3 time. It's a little crazy to me that the basic media functionality/etc on the PS3 aren't going to be present on the PS4. I hope they get patched in eventually but it seems like something that would basically be the minimum bar for launch.

Apparently it's better to promise things and not deliver than to be upfront about changes. Good to know.

The reality with all of these consoles is that the hardware is completed long before the OS/etc is finalized and fully tested.

I'm fine with what Tim proposes as a solution. They tried to use all of the money that was given to them and overshot, I don't see this as an issue, they aren't ripping off the original backers and are able to deliver the final product (in two pars) that they want to. As long as I am not losing anything as a Backer, I don't really care. I asked for the game, and if I get the game eventually then I'm fine with it.

Don't really see this as a bad thing for the XOne. Any major decisions/etc are already made and the console is on track for Nov. Release - him leaving isn't a huge surprise with how much negative PR he's generated over the past month just by saying stupid things.

What's interesting to me is the people who are trying to spin this like it's a bad thing. Big corporations changing their policies to align with what users want is ONLY a good thing.

Really want to see more from this game - I think it could be pretty awesome.
