Hey everyone, my name is Syd and I'm here to talk to you about the demo of Playstation All-Stars that I played. I realize it's been forever since I made this account, so I'm sorry I haven't made anything. ^^; Hopefully you'll still follow me. Anyway, onto the review (further apologies if the review for the kiosk demo seems a bit late. Just played it.)

I'll admit that I wasn't very eager to play this game. I mean yeah, it has characters like Kratos, Parappa, and it even has Jak and Daxter (two of my favorite PS doods!) But, as you might see about me in future updates, I've always been more of an Xbox fan. Does this mean I HATE Playstation? No. I actually want a PS3 eventually. And THIS GAME is the exact reason for it!

I already knew it had different gameplay from Smash Bros (in which you can only kill people with supers,) but it just didn't look that impressive. The GAMEPLAY on the other hand? I cannot TELL YOU how fun PS All-Stars is to play. The version I played (which was NOT the downloadable beta version) had Jak, and I was totally having fun playing as him. It's a game where you have to be on your feet and be aware of everything around you, so it CAN get a little confusing. But it feels SO REWARDING when you hit someone. Every moment, every super, and every goddamn move is so hype. The control (while stiff) feels awesome, and playing the game is actually not as hard as some people would make it out to be... Then again, I was mostly playing a character with guns, so I'm probably not the most reliable guy on that front. But regardless, every characters feels like they get the respect they deserve. And I recommend it to any gaming fan.

Since this is a demo and not the actual game, I'm not going to give it a rating or anything like an A+. However, when the game DOES come out, you can be sure I'll review it properly. In the mean time, I have this thing called the Hype-O-Meter (which I made inspired by Maximilian TOW) that I shall use when I'm really looking forward to something that isn't out yet.

So bottom line, this game gets a 8/10 on my personal Hype-O-Meter.
