i had all four removed in one shot like 4 years ago, at age 25. the surgeon knocked me out and "seconds later" i awoke. it wasn't that bad, i just slept a lot that night after taking the pain medication i never really ended up needing. the cool thing was learning how to eat a slice of pizza without using my molars. i became a master of biting off pieces of food small enough to swallow after chewing with just my incisors.
Anything I could possibly say has already been taken...so...thanks for making Giant Bomb the best site on the internet, and for the billions of hours of entertainment you have given all of us. This is just so unreal.
Vinny is omnipresent. You may not have noticed, but he was there, in every shot, in every conversation. He never shut up. Just talktalktalktalktalktalktalk all E3 long. He's even in your room right now, cutting cables.
The part of this story that makes me shake my head are the quotes by the kid's father about how his son was oblivious to the world around him,
“Justin was the kind of kid who didn’t read the newspaper,” said Jack Carter. “He didn’t watch television. He wasn’t aware of current events. These kids, they don’t realize what they’re doing. They don’t understand the implications. They don’t understand.”
The kid was 18 and he didn't understand that in this post 9/11, post-all sorts of terrorism and cyber-society that the world is a super-sensitive place? Sounds like maybe the father could have taught his son a few life lessons beforehand, but yeah, this is WAAAAAAAAAY too extreme of a punishment. It's stupid what he said, it's stupid some person went all paranoid, and it's stupid that he's in jail for eight years. Just stupid all around.
