I feel kinda dumb for starting another one of these threads, but after going through two playthroughs I still don't get something. I haven't seen anyone write about them yet, so here it goes.

This 'inconsistency' seems so obvious during the game that I felt I must have missed something when I first saw it. John Shepard and 'Scotty' clearly are white in complexion during the flashbacks, and in the picture taken of the two of them. Their origin is further established as we see their drunk white father and their mother Ann. However, Scott is black. Once again, thought I must have missed something obvious, but in the second playthrough, I noticed the pictures of him on the wall, and when Madison came to his apartment, she pulls out a picture in his draw which she concludes must be Scott when he was still in the police force. The picture is of a white man. So did I miss something so critically obvious, or did he just get some melanin injections that we didn't know about?

So I was watching some of the 'endurance run' style footage of Heavy Rain on Youtube since I don't have a PS3 and I am completely flabergasted by the guts that the characters have in this playthrough. Now I know that this is a game, and frankly in-game I'd want to do the riskly things just to see how it pans out. However, in real life taking a risk is a completely different matter. So how would you react to some of the situations that the main characters are presented with in-game

Just to start off with some thoughts on Ethan...

Well, there's been a lot of discussion about this topic. However, everyone so far's missed this...

Clearly the Brazilian government think that bathtubs and showers are both fair game.

Gimmicky names are fine so long as it obvious which ones are harder relative to each other. Even if you use normal terms such as in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, but you screw up the order of the terms, it can be confusing as to which level is harder.

DISAPPOINTED! Thought it meant the improbable Persona 4 FES happened. Guess it looks fine though.

Just a note - it looks like Vinny doesn't have time to do this so I'm going to try to have this ready by Friday (having a heart attack thinking about it, although re-watching most of the Endurance Run doesn't sound too bad). If you have any other suggestions, get them in quick.

" My buddy and I are about to start playing the game together, Vinny and Jeff style. I haven't really seen much of the Endurance Run, but I herd the game was kinda tough. Is their an easy difficulty I should put it on or any beginners tips you guys have?  "
I know this is a cop-out answer, but just watch some more of the Endurance Run since its a walkthough of sorts.

" As someone else said, Jeff and Vinny probably know most of Fallout 3 (playing the other two just wouldn't work for an ER, length-wise) like the back of their hands and would likely find it that much more difficult to stick with...
If not for this, then it would be a great idea. Personally though, I like the style of the Persona 4 endurance run, so something similar would be a natural progression.
