I'm going to assume there are a few others out there with some decent game collections. I've been working on mine, but it really can take up a lot of space. What do you all do to store games so that they're stored nicely but still accessible? Does anyone have any kind of secret shelving or other assorted game storage ninja tactics?
On a similar collecting note, I've been using Tellico to manage my games database, what do you all use (if anything)?
I've been playing Agarest War, and I'm not sure I have the fortitude to actually play that on Hard for 100 hours to finish it.
It's all really great, except the combat. I enjoy combining skills and all that, but I just started Gen 2 and I'm kind of in a rut where I can't really upgrade anything and the battles are still a bit rough from time to time. Often it just seems that I send people in to die just to get the big attacks activated and then just kinda go off all over the enemy's faces. This strategy unfortunately requires a lot of Fragments of Life, time, and a bit of luck.
Any protips out there? (other than 'Buy the DLC points')
Mario games generally tend to push the genre regardless of the system being played on. SMB1 had a multitude of secrets and ways through the game, SMB2 was... well... different.. SMB3 introduced the map and all the different costumes, while SMW was a beautiful game in almost every respect.
SMG/SMG2 may be fantastic, and I'm confident Nintendo will find a way to (excuse the pun) 1-up themselves with the next Mario game.
The combat is all kinds of fun, I had a blast after discovering I could use COM+RAV+SEN and Ruinga/Blitz (with Lightning main and with speed/ATB boosts after damage/kill) to kill off huge groups in seconds.
I got about 60 hours in, beat the game, did the first half of the missions. I saw how much CP grinding would be required to finish a character completely and said 'meh'... I started Agarest War to fill the 'exp grinding' need.
