Remember, if you're going to get Witcher 3 on PC, owning 1 and 2 will give you up to $11 off preorders on GOG. Witcher 2 counts as an $8 discount, so if you're going for 3, you actually save more than you spend if you buy the second game.

You can register your copies of Witcher 1 and 2 on GOG to get a GOG backup copies. Also the discount pre-order price for owning both game also applies to the Steam version of Witcher 3 by the way but GOG is offering more bonus stuff if you pre-order from them.
This will be the fist steam sale in a while when I will own a decent gaming PC. So, I might get some games that interest me beyond the argument "maybe I will play it later".
Oh even if you have a capable PC now, you might end up with more games then time so that argument would probably still stand. :P

I'm more worried that they're going to create this whole insane universe that's going to be awesome and then there's not going to be anything meaningful to do in it.
I think that's what the OP is getting at, though I think the title should have been worded differently since it really doesn't reflect what he thinks more so than to incite a reaction out of people.
Sony should buy them. SONY, by gamers FOR gamers, the Live, Learn and Love way. Capcom take note how it's done. AWWWWW YEAHHHHHHH
Well, that's not necessarily going to be great either. Remember Sony as a whole isn't doing so well financially and they also did shut down a number of first party dev teams not so long ago so to cut costs. MS however despite the Xbox being behind is still doing a lot better than Sony as a whole so they're more financially capable to buy stocks. Plus if this happens, Capcom's IPs will just end up being single console exclusives and I for one wouldn't want that. I'd rather have their games be platform agnostic and be on as many platforms as possible so I'd rather have another publisher or even just a different company that is not necessarily in the games industry to be able to buy them.
I think they might have a dynamic playlist for match making meaning by default any map and will have to play by the rule of whatever game it belongs to. That would probably answer any concerns of lobbies thinning out.
@vovode: One hole in your theory is taht the Templars are not working with Juno. The people who work or worship her are a different faction altogether. That's the only thing I can contribute to this thread since I haven't played Watch Dogs.
