My website's first ever pocast, give it a listen if you stumble across this :)

Direct Download - (Right-Click 'Save as')

(It goes without saying, but unbelievably huge spoilers for Mass Effect 3 are contained within)

A special (technically first ever) episode of GameBanter, in which we address the controversial ending to Mass Effect 3... by experiencing it live! Lee's already completed it, and Gaz is in the driver's seat for the ending to his playthrough. Will Lee be able to avoid any last-minute spoilers? And what will Gaz think of the controversial ending to the game he's been looking forward to all year? There's only one way to find out... Fiiii-actually, just come and have a listen!

I've been a paying member since the first minute it was possible to be one, and also followed Jeff and Ryan here (simplified but you know what I mean) from Gamespot, but I have a nasty feeling in my gut... Not about content, I have no doubt Vinny wont let anything leave the editing room without being batshit bonkers, but at my premium membership. I had no qualms at all about my Premium Membership when the site went the independent direction that it did, I felt like I was helping preserve something that I loved, but now it doesn't need preserving. It is preserved. The guys get a secure wage, which is AWESOME, and will retain their original content and style, which is the best news ever, but they don't need my money any more, and I kinda do. I really think they should scrap their whole premium member service... unless the revenue it generates is the reason for the buyout in the first place? I dunno, no need for me to start conspiracy theorising.

I'll still come to Giantbomb, and still buy good merch when it pops up, but I hope they do away with the premium-only videos, they're not necessary any more.

For me the game that springs iately to mind was Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I was all excited to play as s Redfield and punch Magneto in the face, but then the controls and mechanics were just the most unintuitive in the world for a newbie like me so I sold it pretty much the next day. Made me sad.

I heard Vinnie uppercutted a horse once. It had babies and they all came out giraffes.

BEST game I've ever played is close between 3 or 4 games, but personal favourite, when I really look back and think about how many Friday nights me and my friends wasted playing it, I'd probably say my favourite was Super Smash Bros. Melee. For about 2 years it was almost all me and my friends played.

I still want this game even with the apparent frustrations. I love when games try something new. Even if the games overall aren't that great I always have fun trying out new concepts. One of the reviews I saw(I think it was IGN's) said that this game was this year's Fracture/Timeshift/Dark Void which isn't a bad thing in my book.

There aren't really any new concepts there though. You can still die, and when you're vulnerable you still have to evade enmies until your "health" recharges (ie. until you can spawn your limbs back). They've tried to make it look like an original concept, but that just makes it all the more frustrating when you realise it's just re-skinned game concepts you've already seen a million times.

"'Tis a fine enough beat-'em-up, but sure 'tis no classic, English."

I got that reference instantly, one of my favourite lines from any Simpsons episode ^^

Hey guys, I have my own video game website that I run in my spare time just so I can write about video games, and last week I was lucky enough to receive a review copy of NeverDead. I posted my review this morning and just figured I would come over and copy/paste it onto GiantBomb!

Take a goosey gander, and let me know what you think! ^^

Now those are some shoes that aren't for wearing! Good job, especially on the logo on the back, when I saw that I thought they had been prefessionally done
