Practically Every Game I've Ever Played Ever, in the History of Now

In part to fulfill a certain quest's criteria, and also in part to show off my limited, yet also extensive gaming history, I present the one and only, ever evolving and frequently imitated gbrading's Patented List of Practically Every Game I've Ever Played Ever, in the History of Now. Brought to you by Enron and the Midland Trust Bank. Enjoy as we wizz through just over two decades of gaming history in practically the blink of an eye. Presented in a completely random order.

Age of Empires

Not really played a whole lot, but still worth a look in.
Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome

A moderately interesting expansion to the original game.
Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings

Played for years on end, and certainly one of, if not my favourite game ever. The Middle Ages offer such variety.
Age of Empires II: The Conquerors

Made an already great game even better. What more can I say? Totally incredible.
Age of Mythology

Always seemed to run rather slowly, but great graphics nonetheless.
Audiosurf

A neat indie game with limitless replayability.
Batman: Arkham Asylum

Play it if you haven't already. Amazing. Taught me an awful lot about Batman.
Battlefield 2

Again, should go back and play more. The usual Battlefield experience involves death at half a mile.
BioShock

One of my favourites. Setting is without comparison, and the atmosphere is intense.
BioShock 2

In relation to the original, I view this as rather a letdown. Fully playable nonetheless.
Black & White

A really clever game that I never finished, despite a lot of trying.
Call of Duty

Humbly I personally view the original game as seminal. I haven't played COD4, so I have nothing to compare.
Call of Duty: United Offensive

Essentially more of the same, but the Battle of the Bulge is great.
Call of Duty 2

Didn't particularly impress me. Seemed decidedly formulaic, and didn't change from the original game.
Counter-Strike: Source

What can be said about Counter-Strike, really?
The Curse of Monkey Island

The best Monkey Island game. Enough has been said.
DEFCON: Everybody Dies

An Introversion Software classic. My Indie darling developer never ceases to amaze me.
Deus Ex

One of the most philosophically interesting and detailed games ever created.
Deus Ex: Invisible War

Disappointing. I hope Deus Ex: Human Revolution ignores it.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

What a game! I invested so much time it's almost criminal.
Fallout

Began playing recently, yet to finish.
Fallout 2

Again, same as Fallout original.
Fallout 3

Alongside Oblivion, my favourite Bethesda game, despite the glitches and bugs.
Grand Theft Auto III

It got the ball rolling. Grand Theft Auto has never looked back.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Best soundtrack, rather 2-dimensional characters though.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

A huge and complicated sprawling map, which provided a lot of fun.
Grand Theft Auto IV

The most emotionally detailed game, with the best rendition of Liberty City.
Half-Life

A total classic that requires no introduction.
Half-Life: Opposing Force

A solid addition to the main story.
Half-Life: Blue Shift

Unlike Opposing Force, Blue Shift is a waste of time.
Half-Life 2

Honestly, Half-Life 2 is the closest to perfection any game has gotten, aside from Tetris.
Half-Life 2: Episode One

An interesting middle-point in the HL2 saga.
Half-Life 2: Episode Two

Cliffhanger ending, what will Freeman do next?
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast

Is this really a standalone game? I guess... Pretty good for a graphical demo.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Oh God... The horror... This game was not good, to say the least.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

I played two of these God-awful games?! Sheesh... I have zero taste.
Heavy Gear II

A game that came free with Windows XP. Never made it past the tutorial.
Indigo Prophecy

Known to normal people outside the US and Canada as Fahrenheit.
Mafia

An unexpected diamond in the rough.
Mass Effect

After first looking at it and not being interested, playing it has totally converted me.
Max Payne

Never has shootdodging looked so cool.
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne

Even better than the original, and one of my favourites.
Medieval II: Total War

Didn't finish the main campaign; must go back one of these days.
Midtown Madness

Only played it once at a friend's house.
Midtown Madness 2

Way better than the original, even if by today's standards it is woeful.
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge

The first game I ever played.

Remarkably solid and well thought out.

It was just a shame when Lionhead closed down the website.
Multiwinia

Not a pinch on Darwinia. Stick to the singleplayer.
Myst III: Exile

The finest static-environment adventure game I know of.
The Orange Box

Why this counts as "a game" I don't know.
Railroad Tycoon II

The best Railroad Tycoon game. Always had fun making National Rail work on time for a change.
Railroad Tycoon 3

Graphically and musically superior, but doesn't handle quite as well as Tycoon II.
Red Faction

Bring down a mining corporation! On Mars! OK!
Red Faction II

Bring down a dictator! Not on Mars! Dreadful!
Red Faction: Guerrilla

Blow lots of stuff up! On Mars! Great!
Rome: Caesar's Will

Nobody knows this game exists, except me. Thank goodness.
Rome: Total War

Better than Medieval II, because it is slightly simpler.
Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion

Never really seemed to add a massive amount to changing gameplay.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

A creepy game I am yet to finish.
Saints Row 2

Good game, broken PC port.
The Secret of Monkey Island

The special edition adds a number of great features, specifically voice-acting.
Shattered Union

A great premise, and broken game, do not make good bedfellows.
The Ship

Remarkably fun and engaging, whenever there are enough people to play.
Silent Hunter III

And I don't even like Submarine simulations... Yet this was fun.
SimCity 2000

The first SimCity I owned, with about a million maps. Classic.
The Sims

Gargh. It's that time when we pull out every Sims expansion ever assembled, because I was mad for The Sims at one time.
The Sims: Hot Date

Go on a date downtown.
The Sims: Livin' Large

Buy a few useless accessories for your house.
The Sims: Makin' Magic

Cast magic spells and stuff...
The Sims: Superstar

Become rich and famous, or richer than you already were.
The Sims: Vacation

Known to us internationals as On Holiday. Go on holiday.
The Sims: Unleashed

Pets, a joy for all the family, now yours.
The Sims 2

Thankfully, there were no Sims 2 expansions purchased.
The Sims 3

Same again for Sims 3, since this is actually a worse game than Sims 2.
Star Trek: Bridge Commander

The best Star Trek space combat game there has yet been.
Titanic: Adventure Out of Time

As a Titanorak (one unnaturally obsessed with the RMS Titanic), this game was useful, but not great.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield

For some reason, this tatical shooter was extremely engrossing.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword

Expansion to the former, which added some replay value and more maps.
Tropico

Hola El Presidente! You are the best leader ever!
World in Conflict

Probably one of the finest RTS multiplayer games ever designed.
World in Conflict: Soviet Assault

The soviet campaign is interesting, but the American story is much stronger.
World of Goo

Fun and rather addictive puzzle game, with neat music and art style.
Worms

Original demo version, launching in MS-DOS, which had two maps. Unforgettable.
Darwinia

Darwinia is a game unlike any other. It transcends normal categorisation.
Wii Sports

Onto the Wii games now, which are shoehorned onto the end of this list. The starter game is good for a while.
Wii Sports Resort

Truly adds a lot of content worth checking out, especially swordfighting.
Wii Fit

You've got to stick with it, but in the end it does work.
Wii Fit Plus

What Wii Fit original should have been in the first place.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play

I know next to nothing about Golf. This taught me something.
The Sims 2 Castaway

For a Wii game, it gives the best Sims experience you can expect.
Super Mario Bros. 3

On the Virtual Console. Impossibly difficult. I guess I'm not playing it right.
Tetris

There is no game that will ever hope to beat Tetris, preferably for the SNES. Thus endeth the lesson.
Tropico 3

Being dictator of a banana republic in the Caribbean has never looked so good.
SimCity 4

Even on modern computers, this still runs sloooowly.
Battlefield 1942

Should really try to go back and play more of this. Always seemed to have sound issues.
Machinarium

An excellent tradition point-and-click; great music and excellent art style.
Braid

Fantastic time-manipulation, and an intriguing minimalistic storyline.
Burnout Paradise

The Ulimate Box. The best racing game I've played since Midtown Madness 2.
Fallout: New Vegas

Perhaps "The Real Fallout 3". Great storyline, characters and voice-acting. Still rather buggy though.
