For those of you who enjoy evergreen games (games that have no explicit narrative or end point) I share your pain. As the years narrative games fly by (AC3, Far Cry 3, Hitman, etc.) I'm still playing the same map of CK2 or coaching a soccer team week after week in FM13. I find it difficult to pull myself away from these evergreen games to enjoy other titles that came out in 2012. Games like XCOM and Dishonored still lay unfinished in my Steam Library because I get stuck in the "One More Turn" loop in Endless Space.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this plight and the best recommendation I can give is to set aside time to enjoy those other releases. Don't panic, your evergreen titles will always be there. Just tell them it might be time to take a break.
