The way I see it, Phil Fish gets one successful game under his belt, gets a bit of an inflated ego and starts talking shit about everything and everyone because he thinks his opinion means something. Some of that heat gets redirected his way and he throws a temper tantrum like a spoiled child.
If he grows up, calms down and resumes work on Fez 2, great. If not, then nothing of value has been lost.
I have absolutely zero interest in the Wii U until there's a new Smash Bros. or 3D Mario. The launch lineup is also looking piss poor with a bunch of games already available/soon to be available on PS3 and Xbox with only a handful of exclusives.
Sorry, motion controls didn't revolutionize gaming and neither will gimmicky touch screens. Once again, Nintendo finds themselves catching up to the current gen, only to be obsolete once the next Xbox and PlayStation are unveiled.
