The decision for the top game on this list is unusually hard for me because the top three would all be on my favorite games of all time list.  I put hundreds of hours into Oblivion, CoH, and GalCivII, but Oblivion wins based on how epic and enthralling it was.  (But CoH is so damn good!?!)

List items

  • My. Favorite. RPG. Ever. Now matter how janky it was in some parts I love this game unconditionally and have spent over two hundred hours on both the PC and XB360 versions.

  • And now my favorite RTS ever. I expect to play this games multiplayer until the servers are gone ( which hopefully never occurs).

  • While a small portion, the small gameplay bite it provides is great. The cooperation with Alyx presents a great new possibility for allies in games. Valve sure knows how to streamline an experience.

  • This game satisfies all of the Star Wars nerd fantasies I have. They could release an updated version of this game every year for the rest of my life and I would probably buy it. I am aware this is nerdy, but I can not resist the Star Wars.

  • Not the best Zelda ever but a very solid take on the franchise. That being said, Please do something new next time, o.k. Nintendo?

  • It's New Super Mario Bros. This game is really fun, but you already knew that cause everyone has played this fucking game.

  • Ya, another Star Wars game. But at least this one is new (Yes I know that it's a sequel). The original star wars films is the best movie trilogy ever made and this game is that in lego form, need I say more on my position?

  • I refuse to compare this game to a greatly reveared Blizzard product, but if you liked that game this is the same with better graphics, a cool setting, and levels that are not randomly generated.

  • For those of you who claim this ruins the movie, screw you. This game is a lot of fun and it in no way affects the greatness of Coppala's masterpiece. I like this game more than any Grand Theft Auto ever released, and if you disagree with me on that don't bother arguing, we will never reach an accord unless you change your opinion.
