Mortal Kombat X moves forward with a snappier version of the previous game's fighting and some cool new characters, but the story and other features around the edges feel a bit rough in spots.
The ways that Axiom Verge resembles Metroid help set up and drive home the ways that Axiom Verge is most definitely not Metroid.
Hotline Miami's thrillingly brutal gameplay is stretched to the point of breaking in this aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise disappointing sequel.
lol @ number 1
I guess you guys didn't check this but there is already a Beastcast...!
Igarashi is great.
Man, this game looks a lot slower to play on a controller.
When I'm playing with M+KB It's a lot more fast paced. You can maneuver around more efficiently it seems. I guess that applies to any FPS really.
You're right, but, mostly this is just Alex. I played The New Order on PC with a controller, and, I'm not some kind of super player or anything like that, but my gameplay looks nothing like what's in this video. Alex just seems to be a very pop and stop guy. He's basically trying to play this game like you would a CoD campaign. Which is basically: park in a spot, shoot everybody, then move.
Either way basically I'd just say to anyone that the game plays really excellent, either on controller or KB+M. Very fluid stuff. Alex was nervous or something! who knows.
Great accent Danny.
Very much love this series.
Crazy. It's been too long since someone remarked on how great this video is.
Well buckle me in and buckle down n get the ball rollin!
It would be awesome if one of these games was great.
Less than a dozen people made Helldivers - that's a great formula for Halo to look at for these twin stick releases.
Maaan. Most posts in this thread are woefully typical angsty internet.
Personally I think it looks OK for an in-engine asset demo. Obviously very curious to see what the gameplay/modes will be like. Not a fan of hero characters being in the game, but if they are used well (not just bullet sponge mission objectives) it *could* be interesting.
As for the grahpics. I can buy the game might look that goods. Just imagine the money & tech that Disney & EA could pump in to this.
E3 will be judgement day in a lot of ways. At least we'll know based on gameplay if it actually has a chance to make that November date. Seems solid though.
Vinny pretending the name of the game is a Harry Potter spell? Check.
Alex pretending to be a monkey? Check.
