Very excited for this series. Kind of makes me want to replay this game again... FFX definitely among my favourites, if only for the combat, which I thought was such a tremendous design success for the team. Dunno how you feel about it yet, but really it is among the few RPGs that so easily allows / promotes use of the entire team. Khimari is a slow burn but he's a boss.
But that blog title; starting the show with the showstopper huh?
Oh and without confirming or denying anything... interesting theory ZombiePie.
I really like Aloy's animations. For Jeff to say that the majority of the game isn't fighting, they sure showed a lot of it. I think even Brad was getting tired of it towards the end. Jeff's praises for the story still really excite me. If that Healer quest wasn't even a main sidequest, that is encouraging as well.
Historically quick looks are pretty traditional when it comes to coverage. Especially because of the, uh, "shorter" nature, the guys tend to put gameplay first, to the point of skipping story / dialog entirely or tapping through it. Maybe this is also to not spoil people? This has always been a 50/50 proposition when it comes to games like this or the Witcher, or, soon, with Zelda.

Looks pretty cool actually. I had thought this was just a pretty game, but had no idea what to expect from the meat and potatoes. Sure looks like a game ass game! Dope! It's on the list now, but not sure yet what I'm getting first between Switch Zelda, this and Mass Effect.
