Critical Role just finished their first campaign. It’s a bunch of video game and cartoon voice actors who started streaming their game after playing at home for quite a while. It’s on YouTube as video, but also now out as a podcast.

The cast being actors leads them to focus on role play over combat tactics in some instances, but it’s often hilarious, sometimes heart-rending, and often surprising. There are several clips of the funnier moments on YouTube if you want to sample, and some fun guest players.

Oh, and they do eventually spend time on a continent that is Arabian-inspired, if that’s of interest to you.

@karolis: I would still be interested in this as well. Sad to not have a chance to bet poorly on a young, non-Max driver.

@pozo: just to chime in - been having the same issue on the Roku 3. The videos mentioned are desynched for me as well, as well as the latest Vinnyvania.

The same videos that can play over the YouTube app work fine, for what it is worth.

I enjoyed this last year, as I got more into F1. I may be more excited for F1 this year than baseball, and I used to be a hardcore baseball guy.

I mounted a late charge last year, as the Smittereens, and hope to pull a better name this year.

This thread keyed me to start a rewatch. It's crazy that the first video has Vinny saying that they will play 15 minutes at a time, and that the first few are 20ish minutes.

And there is an early moment where they talk about maybe playing as Dojima later on "his persona is a huge cop car that casts spells" that just kills me.

People might also want to consider that in addition to video staff being limited, they are still probably short on video gear after having it stolen at E3, so the ability to have many things going on at once is limited.
