Story, Shepard, Wrex, Thane and Garrus. This game truly had it all. And mining.
Edit: I want a side story, or an opportunity in the 3rd game to run a mission with Shepard, Garrus, Wrex and Thane. Call it Mass Effect: Expendables. We would just wreck shit and trade bad-ass lines back and forth.
I've been weirdly more emotional than ever the last few years due to personal and family stuff, but I think it was more this game than me that made me misty-eyed at the end, as the credits rolled and the song "Dead Man's Gun: played. And I killed a cougar with a knife.
Had to wait until Xmas to get this as a gift, but now that I even started it, it goes on here. It's AC2 . This is a good thing. The multi seems frustrating, aggravating, and replayable, so that make sense as well. Now, if we could only get Ezio to cross over into Mass Effect - Space Ezio?
Halo is Halo, but I was somewhat surprised at the level of gravitas that the fairly vanilla squad picks up as the game progresses. The fates of Carter and Emile were impactful, and I did not expect that. the stories for the other Halo games seemed fairly nonsensical to me, especially 2 and 3.
Crazy, fast, short rewarding gameplay, throbbing visuals and music. Duh duh duh duh. Duh duh na! Duh duh duh duh..
Halloween is awesome, the Statue of Liberty is awesome, French Fry Costume is awesome.
This game deserves some love. It's definitely like a Goth Zelda, but tell me why that's not a good thing. It was a throughly satisfying game, and it worked well, which in the year of buggy-ass games, it pretty cool.
Worth putting on here just due to being able to watch m girlfriend scroll through all the clothing options to properly kit out our band members before singing some good old early 90's alt-rock.
I was not sure if this game belonged on any list, much less this one. Then, I went and looked at Hamst3r's (he's a prolific dude on this site) Youtube video with commentary, which if I could link to directly, I would. In it, you can hear him as he encounters the brutal deaths and mechanics of this game for the first time, and that, along with his play-along commentary of "Uh, hmm, Ok, now I'm just gonna. . Oh! Damnit! I hate you!" remainded me exactly of how much I enjoyed this game for precidely those reasons.
No one needed more Dead Rising than this. No mas, no problem.
