Although it would require a concerted effort by the community (and, let's face it, unless someone from outside the industry talks smack [Ebert], that's about as likely as successfully herding cats), refusing to buy the games from the stores (like GameStop) that do this kind of thing might help curb the behavior. (I'm not sure why anyone buys from GameStop anyway, but that's 'nother ball o' wax).

Pre-order, exclusive DLC is BS.

@Vegsen - It is pretty easy, even on "Hard," but I think you have to have the old-school high-score mindset (like you said); it's not just about playing the game to beat it, it's about trying to get higher and higher scores for bragging rights. Anyway, @damsweldon, It's great, but my EIC had to text me to let me know about it and I'm a Galaga junkie from way back!

Except for some stutter in the opening cutscene, I haven't had any problems at all...but I am playing on the new-model 360. 

I was really, really excited for Too Human...but it wasn't good. At all. I played all the way through and at no point was the gun play that great, the control scheme was...meh and the graphics were...passable, I suppose? The only thing that really got me into it was the storyline, but I'm a sucker for modern reinterpretations of ancient mythology (and the Beowulf legend is sweet). But agreed: I'd rather see a "remake" or Beyond Good and Evil (HD) treatment of Eternal Darkness than more Too Human. Also, "You know, there's very public litigation around that." Really? I mean...really? A: Yes, you're suing Epic and in the mean time, they've turned out, let's see...3 AAA best sellers? and B: What, as opposed to private litigation in the Secret Star Chamber for Private, Really Cool Wealthy People Only Litigation Courts?
