TFC was my Counter-Strike. TF2 is my TF2. Always new skills to learn, and with all the free updates, there's always something new.

For partially nostalgic reasons, this is my favourite Final Fantasy.

Got it with my Mega Drive (yes, that's right, Mega Drive) and played it to death. It's not complex, it's extremely repetitive, but man oh man is it a fun romp - and it holds up too.

I love all the Zeldas, except the second one (oh and those CD-I ones). The reason I picked Twilight Princess is that this one is the perfect distillation of everything Legend of Zelda, executed on a grand scale. I think The Wind Waker might have been more fun, the first half at least, and Ocarina is noteworthy for its innovation, but overall I probably enjoyed this one the most.

Well, it had to be a Civ game, and this one has all the great new stuff from III (borders for one thing), but the production values really ramped up. Great soundtrack, good graphics, and finely tuned mechanics make this game a staple.
