Steamboy is pretty great, set in england about the son of an inventor, has to run for a corporation that want to take his fathers stuff.

I guess it has robots in some of the anipibous steam tanks etc but it is way more lo fi than pretty much everything else

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer - 249 hrs on record

DiRT 3 - 243 hrs on record

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer - 230 hrs on record

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Multiplayer - 225 hrs on record

Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Multiplayer - 224 hrs on record

I think CoD4 would have more but I had a boxed copy for that before steam was really a force, also my WoW characters have far to much time on them as well as my FFXI character

got it because similar speced htpc cost 3 to 4 times as much and wanted to support someone trying something new xbmc is on it so I'm set to use it for the foreseeable future - I've tried pretty much everything when it comes to streaming thing to my TV dlna is one of the worst implemented standards I know and all the on the fly transcoding things are really bad/picky, had an old pc and that worked by far the best using a blu tooth keyboard. Do I care if it is a success - sure it would be nice for it to make them money and get people making apps for it but I won't hold my breath for that to happen

Randomly typed into the FFXI character creator, used if for a few thing while using my mains name Poturta all over the place, started playing WoW with Poturta as my main, get to 60 not much to do not in a guild make a Shaman with the name Gilsham play that to 60 PVP a while bunch, get in a guild and do MC/BWL. BC hits play the living shit out of Gilsham who is now my main, do everything apart from sunwell with him, know as Gilsham by pretty much everyone I know online start using it for most things. I like to give my names a kinda personality so Poturta is whenever possible the tallest most heavy set body type (he is a Galka MNK in FFXI - though when I started WoW Tauren couldn't be hunters so he was a troll)

with 8gb of GDD5 and only the x86 die I'm wondering how they are addressing all the memory - in 32bit OS if you don't load some of the addressing to the pci bus you can at max address 4gb of ram, I think that unified means that the cpu part of the chip addresses 4gb and then the gpu can get at the other 4gb + some of the cpu address space also the background processor will need some ram so maybe it will have 2 or so gb to store what it is downloading / patching

Quick call Mark Cerny! They made a big failure in the system design. The custom built cpu cannot access the custom built memory, because it is way to big. How come no one noticed of these hardware design noobs fooling around at sony research. Thankfully the internets got their back this time, before production started. Hope for the best they did not plan to use DOS on that system, the 640k limit is going to pose a serious problem. *sight*

you probably don't realize the limit on memory addressing is on the instruction set (x86) which isn't custom so thanks for your side remark without any base.

But as @kp1a268 pointed out is has the x64 addon instruction set meaning it can get at all the memory (whichever sheet I read didn't have that on), I'm still interested if any of the ram will be assigned to the background processor

Dragon Quest X - listening to 8 4 talk about this makes me glad I have a WiiU (well MH3 and this)

Fortune Street - gave us one of the best tnt's ever.

Final Fantasy: Four Heroes - this is a really good rpg even if it is only on the DS

Gyromancer - is an attempt to cash in on the puzzle quest hype with a twist match 3 game

Crystal Chronicles: Echo in Time - interesting real time combat rpg with cross play with the wii and the ds, I liked this quite a lot

Crystal Defenders - A very hard tower defence game with quite a lot of replay value (I like it more than kingdom rush)

Final Fantasy: Tatics A2 - oh the hours I've spent in this game, this is one of the best trpgs out there

Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King - Had heard about this when it first came out and got it when I got my WiiU, it is quite amusing and the companion 'My Life as a Dark Lord' (which isn't in the database for some reason) tower defence is also a very interesting take on the genre

Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate - the prequel to Echo in Time, also a real time combat rpg with interesting magic mixing and co-op on the ds

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings - a some what lack lustre rts mainly because it was quite hard to control on the DS

While I very much like all the main line Final Fantasy (esp XI as it was my first MMO and I still think its group based combat skills are fantastic) people do seem to have a large disdain for them over the story, which to me if your coming to a JRPG for the story then you are doing it wrong (the biggest example of this I think is X-2, the combat system and etc in that when it came out were so damn good)
