  • As a huge fan of the first BioShock I wasn't really worried about a new BioShock game like most people seemed to be. I really enjoyed the story if the combat was a little meh. Felt like I was pumping too man bullets into enemies, even when the weapons were fully maxed out. But with the truly addicting multiplayer and great characters and story, it makes the best games of the year.

  • It took me a while to get into this game. Fallout 3 is my favorite game this generation by far (maybe of all time), beating it over ten times. There were some changes that I did not agree with, mainly some of the ammo upgrading and things like that. But I respect what Obsidian did with the game, they know how to make a good RPG. The story though is what pushes it above most games, like with Alpha Protocol, a game that does choice really well, Bethesda Fallout games might be buggy but they do story better then anyone else. The different waring faction fighting for power and putting you right in the middle to really shape what will happen, gives you more sense of power then in Fallout 3. The game is pretty damn good.

  • I never played the first Mafia game. I had no idea what it'd be or what to expect. After playing the pretty good demo, I was hooked. 2K has been on a role lately with Borderlands, BioShock 2 and now Mafia 2. I enjoyed the story of Vito's rise to power while it might have been a little obvious at times. Missions were pretty fun for the most part and I really liked the setting. This game surprised me, I've never really been into the whole mafia stuff, but this game tells a good enough story to keep me interested.

  • A all-star time racing game on my top 10 list?? Even in the top 5 for that matter?? Sounds weird, but Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is worthy of this spot. It's really hard to knock this game. It looks great, plays even better and has enough fan service to make it appeal to any Sega fan.

  • I love Spider-Man, what can I say. I'm not the biggest fan of comics like a lot of people. I've read more Manga in my day. But Spider-Man has been one of the few where I've actually sat and read a few of them. While I don't know much about any of these Spider-Man (since I never got that deep into them) I still found the game to be rather awesome. It looks fantastic, in almost every world, it plays well in almost every world, I enjoyed the game in almost every world. Get the hint?? I hated Spider-Man 2099. I would put this game higher up, but all that stuff seemed forced, badly thought out. Not like any of the other worlds. But that aside, it's still a kick ass Spider-Man game.

  • I'm not a fan of CoD, never have been and I don't think I ever will be. Battlefield: Bad Company was the first war game I ever finished, and I even beat it about three times. Needless to say, it's my favorite war based game. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 doesn't deliver on the story part as much as the first game (it was amazing) and the online isn't as good, but still great. It's not the best sequel in the world. But it's a totally serviceable and, rather awesome, shooter. Still the only series I'll touch.

  • I beat Heavy Rain in two days. I played it for 8hrs straight. It's a good game. It looks fantastic, and the quick time events are a pretty cool touch. But some of the story stuff I didn't quite agree with. I often found myself not knowing what was going on and confused on what to do. Nevertheless, it has some of the best characters you'll find in a game all year.

  • I have a place in my heart for Raven Software games. I may not always like them, in a story way or something, but they play so well and looks so good it's hard to knock them. Singularity fits into that, there were parts I did not like, example the ending, but the way it played was so good I loved it so much. The time stuff is very cool, and the shooting has a nice bang to it. It's a good, but not great game.

  • My only download only game on the list. Lead and Gold on the PS3 might not be as good as the PC version but it's still a good game. I've spent more time with this game then any other online shooter. It's weird. Cause I hate playing online in online shooters. I think that's saying something.

  • My second Obsidian game on this list. And one that I feel people trash on quite a bit. Yeah it's buggy. Yeah it doesn't look or play the best. But people were so forgiving with the new Fallout games for it, but why can't people forgive this game for it? It's almost as buggy. But putting all of that a side, the one thing that makes it worthy of my Top 10 list, is it's story telling. I really enjoyed it. While the gameplay side might be a little bad, if a game can tell a good story, (and this game does choice better then any game out there), it helps me look past faults like this.
