In no order. Just listing them as I remember them. So far I have four games that I think will fit nicely in my end of year top 10 or top 5 list. If I had to pick an early favorite for Game of the Year, it's no doubt Dead Space 2. Just a fantastic game, only review I've wrote for a game this year. And I hope I'm not the only one in love with this game. Drop some comments and let me know what you think about my list so far.
I've not loved a game as much as this one this year, or last year for that matter. At the moment this is by far my favorite franchise out there, maybe right behind Fallout, but still the best game I've played since Fallout 3.
While I didn't fully enjoy Killzone 2, I was simply surprised on how much I was enjoying Killzone 3. I had a blast with it and have put about 7hrs into the multiplayer. Never, ever have I been so sucked into a multiplayer game. Maybe since Battlefield 1943
Yeah, yeah, you might look at de Blob 2 and think kids game. But from what I've played of it, it's a super stylized, fun and gorgeous game. While it's kiddish in appeal, it's no slouch.
We'll see what the other episodes have in store, but as of right now, this game is the first adventure game to draw me in. Love the characters, story and writing. When a game sucks you in to a genre you've never touched, it's got to mean something.
The best Tiger Woods game since 2005. The addition of the World Rankings, Augusta, and new characters makes it my favorite one in the series since 2005. And of course, I still think 2005 is the best golf game ever made.
