Eh, I don't know if blame is the right word. Video game development isn't easy so we don't know where the problem stemmed from. Did WB give Iron Galaxy very little time to develop the port? Did Iron Galaxy underestimate the work it would require to port the game? Did RockSteady not develop a game that was easy to port from consoles to PC?

Development is complicated and messy and I for sure don't know the ins and outs, let alone know who to blame.

This launch has been absolutely terrible for Warner Bros. Throw in those delayed/cancelled limited editions and fans have really taken a beating with this one.

At least the game is pretty good otherwise this might be a total failure for Rocksteady and Warner Bros.

I've got an i7 @ 4 Ghz, 24 GB RAM, a GTX 980, and a 660 ti for a physx card. The game runs great for me maxed out at 1080p with 60 fps unlocked. When in doubt throw all the teraflops at the problem. Not bad for a free game. Batman was bundled along with Witcher 3 with my 980 purchase.

...the only thing I think is odd is that the textures go from low to normal in theoptions menu. Seems like there should be more options.

Sure sign of what? Embargoes that end on release day happen all the time and has nothing to do with the quality of the game. Thats not always the case but it's not a concrete thing you can point to and say "this game is probably shit or broken because we cant talk about it till its out".

My last 2 monitors have been BenQ, with my latest one being the XL2420TX. I have never been thrilled with the viewing angles on that monitor, which has me leaning toward IPS now.

Having just upgraded to a 980 Ti graphics card, I feel compelled to replace my 24" 1080p monitor with a 1440p monitor. I have done some searching, but haven't found anything that has really sold me yet. A 1440p monitor with an IPS panel and G-SYNC would be my preference, but I'm open to other options.

Let's not forget that PC ports have been doing a relatively bang-up job for the past few years, and while the MKX and Arkham Knight situations are far from minor, they don't necessarily indicate a trend back to the horrible, awful PC ports we got in the beginning of the last console generation.

Yep, same. Can still buy that season pass though! I wonder, the game is current 40% on sale at GMG do you think I could buy a key and still redeem it on steam?
