"The official policy is to only include games which have commercial and/or retail connotations. Battlefield Heroes and Runescape qualify under this condition because they have payable options and the developers are as such making a profit from those games in some manner. (I can't comment on Mythos since I don't know anything about it.) This isn't really a prejudicial slight against free games as much as it is probably just limiting the scope to something that's workable from a database and audience demographic perspective. Yeah, we've all played great flash games and other freeware wonders, but allowing them into the database would create some huge headaches for those running the site. It's much easier to verify information on the games we cover now than it would be for freeware, flash, and other such games due to a number of different factors which go into the article approving process. Suffice it to say that it's due more or less to logistical reasons than anything else that you don't see those sorts of games covered on here. Thanks for the response :) I always assumed something like this was the reason, It's nice to have clarification though. (Passage is still freeware, one that slipped through the net I guess. That said, don't take it down, it is worthy of being in there.)
