Does anyone have a configuration they use to stream PC games so that the delay is only 1 second or so? it's hard to get people to react when there is a 5 second delay.

The new mode is confirmed to be called "Nova"

"   It is now called Nova and has both World War II weapons and more recent weapons. There are 3 modes in the Nova missions. The first is Outbreak which is the standard zombie survival mode we all know. The second is Escape where players have to run through specificcheckpoints before a timer runs out. The third is Lifeline where two players battle against each other killing zombies to get points separately. In Outbreak mode each player can choose their beginning loadout with 2 perks. The perks are not yet certain but it seems to be Sleight of hand, marathon, lightweight and drag-a-buddy."

"  Treyarch's beloved addition of undead to the Call of Duty series looks to continue in the next entry, Call of Duty: Black OpsNot exactly a surprise, but an returning feature apparently confirmed today by the game's strategy guide.

CVG spotted the inclusion of "Nazi zombie coverage" in the Brady Games official guide to Black Ops, which promises "a complete walkthrough to the gritty Cold War-era Campaign mode, tips and tricks to rank up in Multiplayer, how to excel in Co-Op, or fight back the relentless Nazi Zombie horde."

The Call of Duty: Black Ops web site GKNOVA6 is now teeming with Nazi zombie imagery, heralding an official confirmation of the popular gameplay mode. Who wants to place bets on mad Russian scientists mistakenly letting thousands of on-ice undead Nazis loose upon Black Ops players?

Also according to CVG, the new issue of Edge magazine features an interview with Treyarch's Mark Lamia, who claims that the Call of Duty developer has "continued to evolve [Nazi Zombies] after World At War."

"...There was a dialogue going on with some of our hardcore community, and we were able to interact with the community and evolve - we did that with our zombie lore," Lamia tells Edge.

Let's hope this doesn't rule out zombie Vietcong! Or is that a bad idea?"

The looping flash basically shows this.

  • Helicopter bombing a facility
  • Helicopter crashes
  • (assuming) People on Helicopter are soliders, and start shooting the fuck out of the nazi zombies
  • Happy days are had.

So this site, and the fact that info is being taken from the freakin strategy guide means that Nazi zombies are back. Regardless of an "official" announcement.

Yeah same feeling here. I get that the first one was a huge risk on Capcom, but also having this one be exclusive is fucking stupid. I loved Dead Rising 1 but only have my PC and PS3 now, which means that Capcom wants to make me sad.

I know in my heart this is better than what IW did with MW2, but this still sucks majorly. Having only one service provider for servers to me is not that big of a deal, they seem to be pretty cheap to. My point is that those who would like to run their own server are completely shut out of the deal and either have to pay for their own server or nothing. In this end this may not be that big of a deal, but it still shows the gaming on PC is going to extremes. Either they are completely built from the ground up on PC, or ported over with a few features here and there.

Matthew Perry seems to be doing a good job so far from the few lines I heard. He was apparently a huge fan of Fallout 3, so I'm glad he got to do work in New Vegas.

ALSO TO CLARIFY

the "one month later" part seems to have been edited in, so don't take that part as fact.

Apparently this and the release of a 360 version in Japan has gotten some Japanese gamers up in arms, death threats and such. Oh Japan, you so crazy.
