Completed Games - 2011 Edition
My Xbox red ringed! Happy New Year to me! The beginning of this list will probably be pretty PC heavy because of that. Oh well.

Fun enough for the price. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to pick up Serious Sam 3 during the winter sale for my fix of old school shooting.
Short, but definitely enjoyable. I loved the way the game handled. I might go back to it for a hard run through, but I probably don't have time.
I liked Vanquish better. I think that sums up my feelings pretty well.
Short and predictable, but it held my interest. If it had gone on longer I don't think it would have though.
I like Mr. Driller. I like Raskulls. Not as much as Mr. Driller, but it's alright. Worth the 5 bucks I spent on it.
Annnnnd I'm starting to get a bit burned out now.
Embarrassingly short. I'm normally fine with short games, but you shouldn't be able to see everything a game has to offer in 3 hours.
I liked The Silver Earring more, which is a shame because I love Lovecraft. Silver Earring just felt more like Holmes, even if the third person camera there was dreadful.
I think I enjoyed the original better overall, but still a damn fine game and a wonderfully well polished experience.
It only took me about 62 hours, but I finally closed out DAO. Whew.
Beat the 3DS port. What a steaming pile of shit. Selling this as soon as I get back to the states.
Well, that was crushingly depressing. Recommended. Played it during some downtime at work.
Beat the 3DS Virtual Console version. I missed this back in the day, other than playing it on a friend's gameboy here and there. Man that was short. 4 worlds with 3 levels each? Really?
Beat this in 2 hours. Sold it for more than I bought it for. Mission accomplished as far as I can tell.
Can you tell I'm between houses? The 3DS kick continues.
'Beat' this, but there's still a ton of crap for me to unlock. I'll probably end up playing it a fair amount more because I love the mercs mode to death. Still bummed that they charged 40 bucks for it though.
Yet another super short gameboy game. The music is awesome though. Still only takes half an hour to beat.
Beat the 3ds version. A totally mediocre game that was somehow very relaxing.
The single player in this was totally nonsensical in a way that I can definitely get behind.
What a great game. Working on new game plus.
Not as good as I had heard, but not terrible either.
Finished this and all its DLC. I enjoyed it a lot, but I found the ending incredibly anticlimactic. Kind of the opposite of Red Dead's in terms of pacing.
Testing out a new PC, I finished this in two sittings. Not very good, and incredibly short.
Another PC benchmarking game. Super short, but pretty enjoyable for what it was. I should probably play through the first game at some point as well.
Dragged a bit at the end, but I enjoyed it. Glad I didn't play it with a gamepad though.
A terrible game, but a fascinating historical document. I'm glad I played it, I'm glad it came out, I'm glad I didn't pay more than 10 bucks for it.
I enjoyed the story a ton, mostly due to my love of Twin Peaks. The puzzles were pretty meh though, but I still had a good time.
Man, the ending of this game was dumb. I found this game profoundly mediocre.
What an odd game. I enjoyed it overall, but the really abrupt ending and technical problems were big turnoffs.
This game was pretty terrible, but the tessellation on the aliens looked nice. That's something, right?
What a fantastic little game. I fully plan to keep playing it.
Holy shit they hid a new descent in here! Unfortunately somewhat hohum otherwise.
Credits rolled, but I still have one 'world' left to do. Goddamn those special worlds are hard. Not my favorite Mario game, but still a good one.
I only ran into one major scripting bug during my playthrough. From what I've heard, I was lucky.
Still need to wrap up some side missions. Beat it on PC in about 16 hours. Pretty, but it needs some patches and better optimization.
Oh my god I love this game. If anything is giving Skyrim a run for it's money for my personal GOTY, it's this. I still need to see the other ending.
Waaaaaaay better than either of the previous Gears. Kind of surprised how much I enjoyed the game.
Did the end of this game imply that Sonic smuggles the rings up his ass? I... I think it did. Oh Christ.
