If it is action oriented combat like KoA: R, I'm down.... if it is like WoW or SWTOR combat... count me out. TERA Online has spoiled me in to not wanting anymore of the generic MMO combat.
Wow! I'm in the process of returning ME3 and I thought this was a special exception. I'm already an amazon customer for life but I can't say enough good things about these guys. And thank you giant bomb for discovering this, you've earned my membership for another month!
What could you possibly be returning it for? Total piece of shit game after you sunk 30 hours into it, right?
Trust me, this guy is a douche everywhere he goes, most particularly on the Goozex forums. He does much worse than this and has admitted to illegal returns for games he acquired elsewhere than the store he is returning them to. He has zero morals, nor does he care about the ending. He just is trying to maximize his return.
The best analogy i could come up with is the mass effect 3 is a BMW that bursts into flames after you hit 50 thousands miles.Anyone that finds this to be a bad thing is immediately attacked for acting entitled and should be thankful for what they got before the explosion. While i would love to see a re-right of the ending i wont kid my self thinking EA will spend money to protect the bioware brand when there all to busy destroying it with quick money grabs like dragons age 2 and mass effect 3.
That is a horrible analogy. Mass Effect 3 isn't blowing up your Xbox. It doesn't stop working after the ending occurs, as you can play it again. There is a difference in being upset/disappointed in an ending, and being so damn entitled you demand a new ending, complain to the FTC or start getting refunds on the game you opened and played to completion.
I was in my car during the discussion of Most Disappointing. My mind was blown when I heard Brad push for Dragon Age II and everyone eventually agreed and crowned it most disappointing. Outside of recycled environments, I absolutely loved the game. I felt the scale of the city fit the story perfectly. The story was engrossing with the way it handled politics and emotional family segments. I also loved the characters. They were so much fun to interact with. and to just listen to their banter with each other.
There were definitely disappointing elements, but I never would have thought of it as Most Disappointing game. There were plenty of more disappointing games this year, but with the way the Bombcast has been ragging on Bioware lately, I shouldn't be surprised. But hey, it is their opinions and it's nice hearing differing opinions of others even if it drove me crazy. lol
