Doesn't "Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes HD" count as a HD update? An extremely good one too, IMO. Re-balanced, much nicer graphics and solid local and/or online multiplayer modes. Just saying, if you're looking for loopholes... :P Also, at least some mention of Beyond Good & Evil HD would have been sweet.
Oh, and Magicka TNT? Best idea ever! Let's get a dunka dunka rädda midgård fest going in here - that would be superlök!
Porting the games in their entirety would probably be a licensing nightmare, so this seems like a good compromise. It all depends on what gameplay system they decide to use though.
I played THPS2 pretty much every day for, like, two years... at least. I fear that I won't be able to fully enjoy this game unless it manages to tickle the nostalgia gland when it comes to gameplay, art style, sound effects, animation, characters, boards... everything, really.
Oh, and it would be sweet if it had keyboard support. C-V-B-Space for life!
Wow, so many haters... I actually really enjoyed DNF because it reminded me, both mechanically and stylistically, of games like Sin, Gunman Chronicles, the first Turok games, etc. I also feel that it is way more self-aware than the GB crew et al. are willing to give it credit for.
That being said, I do hope this add-on brings more gameplay and humor that is genuinely good, even by today's standards:)
Been playing on the PS3 for about 70h now, with a save file exceeding 10MB, but aside from two lock ups and some occasional framerate stutter and open world jank, everything's fine.
It's probably worth noting that my console (a rather new slim) hasn't been hooked up to the internet since before the launch, so I have no updates installed whatsoever (and might even be running on old firmware).
Ehm... don't you mean "Ryuu ga Gotoku of the End"?
Even though Yakuza 4 was a big ad-ridden disappointment compared to Yakuza 3, and that this one will probably play like most japanese shooters (i.e. like shit), I'm still really looking forward to this.
Only MGS can compete with the Yakuza series in "serious, stern-faced manly men in both really grim and really silly situations"
As a member of the EU, I'm glad we don't put up with this kind of bullshit.
Whether it actually matters that much in reality or not, this just seems like a sleazy move by the corporations and I'm glad these guys are sending an organized middle finger right back at them.
