So the other say I asked whether to get a PSP but there are some Xbox360 games I am interested. So it would help to get some suggestions on this. I know a lot of people have criticized the PSP for the longest time now. "It's impractical, It's a console on the go. Just get a console instead!"
But I actually play my DSi at home (even though I have PS3 and Wii that I could be playing instead.) I've been able to drive for sometime, making driving in the car rather impractical.
However, unlike the majority of people, I think I can find some games I could like. Here is the list:
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable God of War: Chains of Olympus WipEout Pure Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Jeanne d'Arc Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe Patapon Daxter LocoRoco 2 Half-Minute Hero LocoRoco Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days Mega Man Powered Up Tales of Eternia Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Patapon 2 Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Lunar: Silver Star Harmony Metal Gear Acid 2 Mega Man Maverick Hunter X Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel Brave Story: New Traveler Star Ocean: Second Evolution Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception Metal Gear Acid Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower Power Stone Collection Star Ocean: First Departure Yggdra Union After Burner: Black Falcon Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? Fate/Unlimited Codes Secret Agent Clank Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier Monster Hunter Freedom Hexyz Force Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology Armored Core: Formula Front Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce Phantasy Star Portable Wild ARMs XF Breath of Fire III Dead or Alive Paradise Armored Core 3 Portable
Although I am sure there likely people that will say "With a list like that, go for it." But I want my list being cross examined. Which is why I am asking, should I bother with these games as well?
I got myself the Mario Figurine, which kind of sucks. I would rather get some Wii points to buy more games. My other choice was a calender, which kind of sucks considering I have calender for everything else, in addition to the one that I have on every device on the planet. So the alternative was a figurine. Ehh, oh wells. Merry Christmas Bitches.
I had reserved Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii at Gamestop. They had a pretty good deal going for it. If you buy it, you get $5 off and in addition to that, you get 500 free wii points which comes with a pretty looking card. Since I am still a pretty huge user of the virtual console service, this made a lot of sense for me to pick it up. I got the bundle which came with the Classic Controller Pro which is $20 new. So I saved a total of $20 reserving this game. If I end up hating the game, I could sell it for money and make up a bit for the difference, although I probably wouldn't break even.
It was made out for a big announcement for this year and apparently was some death blow to the PS3. Although if I end up enjoying this game, I will likely get a PSP, which is Ironic but does make some sense. The Monster Hunter games really made it big on the PSP. I initially picked up the Demo but I wasn't pleased with it. Although demos rarely impress me anyways.

Remember when Sony had their demo of the "Move" during E3 09? People were divided into two camps. People who said "Fuck this shit, it is the poor man's Wii remote!!!" and the people who said "This really looks like it has a lot of potential." I will say I am in the latter. Looking at the tech demo they had, everything about it blew me away. First was the fact that the pointer didn't twitch, which is comparable to the Wii which is quite frequent with the exception of a few games (e.g. Dawn of Discovery). I was looking forward to Move because it seemed more intuitive and smoother than the Wii remote. Now it seems like they are just imitating Nintendo then out doing Nintendo. No matter how impressive the hardware is, you need software to back it up.
They have a nice idea with this game. It was the kind of support people wanted with the Wii remote when it first came out, only left dead at the alter for the lackluster Red Steel. A game that controlled poorly and didn't show off the best of what the Wii can do. I played SOCOM game before on the PS2 at a friends house. It was then that I learned that I was Dual Analog stick illiterate when it came to First Person Shooters or for that matter, any shooter. The Wii remote was the first time I showed any interest for the Genre on the consoles. Still not as good as the Mouse and Keyboard but at least I can play the damn games. The game itself is very conduitish, in a way that it still makes it seems boring regardless.
Just look at that video. What so interesting about this game? So you launch dudes into the sky and play jump rope. It feels like Sony is trying to make a cheap knock off of what Microsoft attempted, and it seems like they are doing worse.
The Shoot I don't hate rail shooters. The problem is that they are forgetting the appeal of what made Rail shooters so awesome. People like these kind of games to have an arcade feel to them. The Shoot just looks like it is a flash gameplay with polygons. Take Link's Crossbow Training for example. It was simple, accessible and fun. The might as well throw Time Crisis 4 in the mix because has some pull for me personally, and it was already made for the PS3.
Looks like Wii sports, but trust me, it isn't. They lost it somewhere in translation and it seems to be missing that Charm.
Maybe it is because they are using realistic looking characters? Maybe trying to look too technical. I don't know, I might pass on this since I already have Wii sports resort. LittleBigPlanet It actually makes it compelling in the same fashion as physics puzzler. I actually liked World of Goo, so perhaps this could be up my ally.
I decided to explain this in the form of a video. Curious not understanding why the virtual console was never added when classics are rated on other platforms.
Ladies and Gentlemen, gamers and non-gamers, skanks and hoes/fanboys,
It has been recently been revealed that the Wii Defense Force exists. A formerly secret society of people who existed on Giantbomb. While it is believed that our purpose is to "defend the wii a massive force", the true nature is to rule Giantbomb and mastermind video game development. The Javalein glitch, guess who implemented that? How did the Red Ring of Death and Yellow light of Death come to be? Well they aren't the Wii, if that is any clue.
While at first it looked as if it was trophyhunter's paranoia kicking in again, we can assure you he wasn't as crazy for what he said. trophyhunter private messaged me demanding for this so called list. However, before I could, I required permission from my cult leader, oldschool. Being the genius that is my encompassing and knowledgeable leader, he confirmed that the presentation of our ranks must be done. So here today, I address the issue to reveal to my fellow G bombers.
